Default THe Boobie Fairy vs the Boobie Bandit, and other Fairy tales we wish were true!

You guys are too funny!

First of all, a big YAY goes out to Jen. And now, I'm not really an I told you so person, but I think that I have earned the right to say I TOLD YOU SO!!!! Emma will be a fantastic big sister, and you will have itmuch easier the second time around because now you know all of the things that were completely unnecessary the first time. Hope you and your husband have fun with the new "toys" the BF left you!

Laura, I know that work has been stressful for you lately with all the company reorganization, so I'm glad that they're finally going to give you something back for all the headaches you've had that they've caused. You are going to have the time of your life. Are you going to take anyone along? Perhaps Christian or Sean? Have a little dirty weekend of your own? Oh yes, I am feeling evil today. I only tease you because I'm so jealous of your fun vacation. I love touring historic houses, etc., and who doesn't live 5 star living? Lucky girl, you deserve it!

Belle, your time in Thailand sounds great, and congrats on the two pound loss. I know what you mean about being a money tree...when we were in the Bahamas, locals would rush to open the door for us wherever we went, then hold out their hand and ask for a tip. Seeing the poverty really puts you on the spot about it, doesn't it? One question, though...how do you pronounce the place you went, Phuket? Is that pronounced the way I think it is?

KT, I'm so glad that the job and the living situation are falling into place for you. You deserve some peace and sanity in your life, and it sounds like you're finally getting it. Now the rest of your life will fall into place and WW will be one of them. I'm happy that you're feeling better about life...I was worried about you!

Lisa, I'm sending out some Diet Coke Peace vibes your way to help you destress. Or maybe Brian knows a better way to help lower your stress levels...oh yeah, I'm having fun today.

Jess, a house! That is exciting. Would this be you by yourself or you and the bf? It's wonderful to be able to paint your walls any color you want and hang pictures wherever without worrying that you might be putting in too many nail holes to get your deposit back. And quiet neighborhoods are worth their weight in gold. Good luck! Now, steo away fromthe popcorn. We don't want anyone to get hurt!

Deb, hope you get some time to relax today!!!

Enough novel...have a great night, y'all!

Quick questions:

Does anyone know what a serving of fruit/vegetables is? Is 1/2 cup a serving or is it one cup?

And, the water--how much water do you have to drink to be able to check off a box on your journal? Is it 8 oz.?

I don't remember the fruit/veggie thing and I don't think I ever knew about the water... Thanks guys!

Default Pronounciatons...

Jayne - ha ha, I have 2 seconds and I read your e-mail. No, its not the bad way you are thinking. The "h" is silent and makes the letter before it have an open sound. So it was pronounced "Poo-ket". And the other island we went to was Phi Phi, pronounced "Pee Pee" and the last place we went was Krabi. Just as it looks. Yup, we had a good laugh here and there.

Phi Phi is the island where the movie "The Beach" was filmed. It was just as breathtaking as the movie was!!

Because we are still in debt with our loans, etc, I didn't feel too compelled to dish out coin wherever they asked, but it was uncomfortable, isn't it....its hard to say no and stuff....! We did tip the servers and the hotel staff well though, and bought things where we could....so we contributed a little!!

AGH - gotta run to another surprise meeting at 2:30 - I'll write everyone from home, almost caught up on the latest ongoings on the board....

Wow...so many posts!

It took all my free time to read them, no time to post now. I have no exciting news to report....

Congrats on the baby news!

I have extra boobage here if anyone wants any!!

I think most veggies are 1 cup, and I count whole fruit as 1 pt, except bananas which are two and plums are 1/2. I have not ran across other exceptions yet. I am not sure about berries and such since they are not in season anymore.
Water is 8 oz.

Again... still freaking. So... I had a headache like 3 hours ago (stress related)... so I go to the medicine cabinet to get tylenol. So I go and get the tylenol and bring it back to my desk. And I don't realize why my headache isn't going away. Just now I looked down and the tylenol is still sitting on my desk. I forgot to take it. What a day.

Brian and I are going for Greek food and then to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Jess... WOW, a house. That's awesome. Definately sounds like your day is looking up!!!! 1 water = 8 oz. As for fruit... each type of fruit varies... you might want to check your Welcome book. It should tell you

Jayne - I'll see what Brian can do for me You're so wonderful, you never fail to make me smile... even on days like today.

I'd say hello to all.... but I'm still in stress mode and must get back.

Jayne - I hope your husband will get the payoff of your evil vibe.

Lisa - They say the best cure for a headache is an O.....

Jess - I'm so excited for you. I bought my house (just me) about a year ago. It was the best decision that I've ever made. I love having a house. And really, it's only a little more expensive and a little more work (outdoors) than an apartment.

Belle - love the elephant!

Hi Marcie and everyone else that I know I missed.

Can't remember who asked, but my vacation is by myself. I LOVE taking vacations by myself. I just do what I want, when I want with no consideration for anyone else. So...no dirty weekend for me. Although, Christian did ask me to go to Orlando for 4 days in November. It is his family vacation (parents, 4 siblings plus spouses and the next generation) so that plus the finances of it and time off of work is making me wary of going.

I have to agree with the house comments. It is so nice to not be paying rent! I do not even want to add up the thousands of dollars I spent on rent before I bought this house a couple years ago! AND, no more coin operated laundry! WOOHOOO

The yard work is insane though! We have a pretty big back yard with a giant flower bed, so it is sooo much work. I think I have a pic I can attach.

Picture off of our back patio....you can see the landscaping timbers in the corner...there are two tears of flowerbeds there to tend to also! The lady who had our house before us was a flower nut!
