Hi everyone! I'm here - yesterday my computer blew up (literally - it stank) and so I couldn't do anything all afternoon. My mom bought me some new clothes as an early birthday present - get this - waist - 31!!! I'm going to resurrect the inch loss thread. SHe also bought me a couple of shirts and they're mediums. It's so strange. THen I went out and bought pants and a shirt - I love new clothes.

Kirsty - glad you enjoyed your mini vacation - dancing banana your way to your vacation bikini bod.

Jayne - that's horrible about your cousin. I hope he recovers well. on the bright side, washing the floors burns calories!

Lisa - You've inspired me, I want a hooker shirt - and strangely, a diet coke.

Keir - doesn't looking at the dancing banana make you less grumpy? It always helps me.

Laura - wow, I'm dizzy. I'm also glad I'm in a relatively stable relationship. But it sure sounds like fun.

Jen - I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you're better soon - and riding around town in your new truck - YAY

Last night BF and I saw Goldmember and I laughed so hard I almost puked (i didn't like the 2nd one at all but this one was really funny) - Of course we went out for Nachos afterwards (first time in over 4 months - must be a record for me) so I better get to the gym tonight. I hope everyone is having a great day. Hi to anyone I missed - Jess, Belle, Lexxy, PJ - OK back to work.

Tonya - go to Image, then Image Size. Make sure that resample image and constrain proportions are not checked off. (You don't want the check by them).... then modify the resolution... that should bring down the file size without making the picture too small. Although.... don't make the resolution too small.... maybe half of your original size....

Girls.. I'll be back to reply to everyone soon........

Sure, I'm productive at work today (insert sarcasm here).

Kier - you are a genius! Dinner would defeat the purpose but a show or the symphony or something would be perfect. I hope you enjoyed lunch even if you don't know what you want from the male friend.

KT - new clothes are always wonderful. I'm glad they perked up your day so much!

Default Hello!

I think it's a little late, so I'm not sure if anyone will see this, but if not, that's OK.

Kirsty--I'm glad you had a nice weekend in Amsterdam. It sounds wonderful, and I'm very jealous! And six weeks is plenty of time for your skinny little body to get into a bikini!

Jayne--OK, more cooking questions for the inept cook--when you make that cake, do you bake it at the temperature that's listed on the box?

PJ--That's a great quote. Thanks for posting it.

Lisa--Way to go with the willpower last night at dinner. I think you deserve a dancing monkey!

Kier--Way to go with the dancing nanner challenge.

Laura--Date with BF last night was wonderful! Thank you for asking. As far as what keeps me motivated, right now, nothing is keeping me motivated, I'm just hot and tired and frustrated and don't feel like doing anything creative for meals, so I just eat the same thing I've been eating since January. Sorry I can't help more, I'm not feeling much like WW lately...

JenL--Oh, you poor sweeties! I hope you and Emma are both feeling 100% this afternoon!

Tonya--You can email the photo to me and I'll see if I can't fiddle with it and post it for you, like I did with Jayne's photo of Aaron.

KT--I am SO jealous of you with your new clothes. I hardly have anything that fits me, but I don't want to shop until I reach goal. Today I'm wearing a pair of my size 16 GAP khakis that just fall off me, but I don't have many other options. I just cinch them real tight with a belt and look like a slob. Oh well, soon I'll have lots of clothes that fit.

Well, that's about all I have to yammer about. I'm going to eat a 2 Points Bar and get ready for the gym....

Have a great rest of your day!

Jess

Ok, here's the deal with the cake. Take any cake mix and any can of soda. If you're using a white or yellow cake, you probably want to use a diet sprite-type soda rather than diet coke, which will turn it funky colors. Preheat the oven to the suggested temperature from the box. Dump the cake mix and the entire can of soda into a bowl, without the eggs or oil that the box suggests. Mix well with a whisk, to break up the lumps. Spray a 9x13 cake pan wtih Pam. Dump the batter in the cake pan. Put it in the oven, and start checking at 5 minutes under the suggested cooking time. It may not be done, but it will be done sooner than it would have been because there's no fat in it, and it will dry out faster. To test, stick a toothpick in the middle. If it comes out clean, it's done. You can also tap the top lightly. If the cake springs back, it's done. For a regular mix, it's 3 points a piece based on cutting it into 12 pieces. For the pudding in the mix kind of mix, it's 4 points based on twelve pieces, or 3 points based on sixteen pieces. When you cut it, use a wet knife. Clean it off after each cut and rewet it. It falls apart easily, so treat it with care, but it's really nummy. You can get really creative, too, like a white cake mix or a strawberry cake mix with diet code red, or a chocolate cake mix with canfield's diet chocolate fudge soda. Good luck!!!

i read all of your posts all the time, i just dont reply much..

i have a secret...my sweet tooth saving grace is a cool thing i found when taste testing protein bars. i crave crave crave chocolate and sweets. sucks! kashi makes bars...they have 14 g of protein, and 7 g of fiber. a bars is 5 points...so what i do is have half as a morning snack, and half in the afternoon or after dinner to satisfy my sweet tooth. cookies and cream flavor..its not like oreos, its more like chocolate covered cookie dough, well close!

the carbs arent low, but we arent doing low carbs are we??

hang in there guys..you all keep me going...
