Default morning, yawn

Oh, I hate morning!

Went to the gym last night. I'm finding that when getting re-motivated, it's much easier to re-motivate myself about eating, but not so easy about getting to the gym. I almost didn't make it there last night, but finally dragged myself in at the last minute.

We're going out to lunch today to a place that only serves the typical burger and fries type stuff, I'll probably have a chicken strip basket, yum, yum and then try to have a low point dinner. I'm just worrying about the weekend--that was what threw me the last couple of weeks. The good news is that I have no food in my house so the only time I'll be eating is when I'm out. I've asked my BF to help me when we're out, he's usually pretty good about that.

Other than that, not much doing here.

Lolly--Good to see you!

JenL--That's terrible what that bully is doing to Emma! It makes me really mad that he can frighten her like that. I hope she gets moved in with the toddlers, too!

OK, I gotta get to work. I'll check back later.

GOOD NEWS.... On Monday Emma moves to the toddler room. I am happy and sad at the same time. I like 2 of her teachers now, but this means she is growing up! So sad!

I'll be back later...

Mornin'

Things are looking better today. Apparently my "boss" called everyone from work yesterday & said the same thing to them so it must not be personal. We're thinking that either she's selling the clinic & completely retiring or she's going on a big trip & leaving us to fend for ourselves. The thing we can't figure out is why she needs to see us personally or why she can't just tell us on the phone. She's very strange about communicating in person. I guess she likes to watch body language. Another weird thing is that we're having a staff meeting on the 8th & we just had one Mar. 4th. We usually only have a meeting every three months or so. Strange. Guess I'll find out what's up on Monday because I'm supposed to stop over at her place on my way home from work. You are all right she is a very strange lady. She is almost 70 & from Germany. She is very old school about some things & even though she's been here for 30 years there is still a language barrier. All of her friends are German, at least half of her clientelle was so she hardly had to sepak english. Oh well. I'm glad to disappear for the weekend. Today we're heading out to Dallas' Uncle's place about 5 hours drive. It will be good b/c we haven't seen most of that family since Christmas 2000. Plus one of my dearest friends lives only 40 minutes from there so she is going to come visit me I haven't seen her in person for over five years but we have kept in close contact. She is one of my bridesmaids.

Glad to see so many people back!

Lolly, great news about the job Your wedding is slightly before mine I think. Mine is just over 13 weeks away (June 29th). Its coming up fast
Kier, don't be embarrassed. We all have those same problems with food. That's how this whole place got started.
Lisa, glad to see you back. Isn't nice when WI turns out better than you expected?
Jess, thanks for feeling empathy. My boss is very strange. I was so angry & upset about it too until I found out she called everyone.
Jen, Its so horrible that there is bullying already at that age. That kids parents had better be on the lookout or their kid is going to end up with a very troubled life. Hopefully Emma will get moved up soon. Of course the other kid will get to move up in three months too so then you'll have to deal with it all again

Happy Easter to everyone else! We're heading out of town today so I won't be on here until Monday. I hope everyone has a special weekend & triumphs over the Easter Bunny! Btw instead of buying me chocolate that I don't need, DF is buying me an Easter Lily! I can't wait. They are so pretty! A much better investment than chocolate!

Good morning!

Kirsty ~ Have a great holiday! We will miss you!!

Kim ~ I saw you post from last night, I hope you get some much needed rest and regular schedule soon. Burning tire smell has got to make you sick!!

Jen ~ That is too bad about the bully! I hope she has happier times in the toddler room. I understand this situation all too well. My 3 year old son, can sometimes be a bully, and it breaks my heart when I hear he has been mean to another child.

Jess ~ You are doing great! Keep up the good work and watch your lunch today!!

Rina ~ Glad to see your work situation isn't an "individual" thing! I am sure it will all work out. A good weekend away is just what you need!

Lolly ~ Glad to see you back, we miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the office is pretty shaped up and my computer is all imaged. Life is good. Now, if I could just have my DH back from working 7 days a week, 12 hour shifts, I will be happy. It may go on for a couple more months though. We have some power plants down in the state, so their power plant needs to make up the lost of power. Oh well, job security!!

I put on my tightest pair of jeans today, just as a constant reminder that I need to lose weight! I am doing well so far, don't have any fattening food in the house either. I am going to stick with it! Summer is fast approaching!!!

Well, I think I will get some work done, we are giving tours of our computer lab today and our offices, so I better get prepared!

TTYL....
