Unhappy It's Monday!

Actually it's Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for me in terms of work! Eek. Got to get all the copy/pages done for the next 3 issues so we can be on holiday from this friday until jan 2. i can't wait! i'm going home to scotland on friday lunchtime - hopefully i'll finish my christmas shopping before then!!
Kim - did you find good shoes?
Trish - how was the last day at work? will you still be online at home? hope so...
jen - any snow yet? it is getting much colder in london but still blue skies (very unusual). i'm sure back in scotland it's going to be rain rain rain and maybe some sleet. we never get decent snow!
KT - glad to hear your niece is doing better. you're so good cooking meals for your bro and his wife!
wenwella - you might be able to find a list of different exercises and the different points for how much you do of each. ask your friend that lent you the slider.
Kierie - where is your cruise for new year? def come to london - then we can meet at last!
hello to everyone who is about to post. i better go do some work since there is three days worth to do (and i wanna go shopping but I am so not going near Oxford Street over lunch hour!).
Love Kirsty
PS Hope everyone had a good weekend. I went to a friend's party on Saturday night. She and her husband are sooo wealthy and so nice - it's sickening! There was champagne going round all night, lord knows how much it was costing! Oh well, it's nice to see how the other side live!

Sorry to gloat, but today is my day off! I haven't had one of these in a long time! Sorry I have been MIA. School and work have been hectic. At least school is over for the semester. Anyhoo, life is good. I have been trying to give my butt a kick due to eating too much as of late. I have decided on days that I am not going out to dinner due to the holiday season I'll try to stick between 23-25 points, or else I will gain back some weight which I definately do not want.

Kirsty: I love Oxford street So many goodies there. I want to go back to the Warner Brother's store and get a powerpuff girl t-shirt if they have any.

Anyhoo, I must go and clean and decorate

Morning Girls
The first thing I did this morning was talk to a credit card CSR definitely not the best part of wakin up. As Soon as I can forage for food I will take my pills which i have concluded I can't eat carbs with (rather not my normal amount) b/c I feel so sick when i eat bread or cereal with it (cold chills nausea etc)but when i ate a more protien based meal or maybe a more balanced meal I was completely fine
My Cruise is around NY an all night thing with champagne and food I just have to figure out if its dressycasual/dressy/formal so i can atire myself accordingly
Kirsty enjoy your busy day I'm having one myself!
Ali sounds like a good plan I think surviving christmas and christmas food is like guerilla warfare at every turn (doesnt matter where you are) someone wants to feed you and if you don't hide behind a tree quickly you're in for it
Anyway on that note
Back to my paper!
Love
Kier

Red face

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday!

Kirsty ~ It is so good to have you back! We have missed you!! Good luck shopping and have a great vacation off of work!

Ali ~ Enjoy your break from school. I am starting my master's program this coming summer, its going to be a lot of work managing a full time job, taking care of my DH and kids and school, but I am excited to be going back. How's everything with BF?

Kier ~ I hope you feel better soon with the medication, I think sometimes it takes a while to get into a schedule with medicine. I have had terrible sinus headaches lately, living on sudafed. Not good....

Wenwella ~ Enjoy your day off! Get that shopping done! I have been finished for a couple weeks now, and all of the presents are wrapped!

Well, another day at work. Not feeling the best, but will manage. My eating this weekend was less than stellar, but I am regrouping today. I have WI on Wed., after this last weekend, I would be happy maintaining!

Work is getting really quiet. Students have finals this week, and then the campus will be completely dead until students return the end of January. I, of course, still work, but am taking off the 26th. So I will have a few days away from here (we get 24,25,31,1 off as state holidays).

Well, better get some work done, will check in later!

There is already temptation all around cookies, cakes, etc. You are right Kier it is crazy at this time of year everywhere you go there is temptation lurking. Losing is definitely difficult right now plus I am stressed with everything in my life but who isn't? I have lots to accomplish and little time to do it. Ok sorry about the mini-vent

Anyways back to the posts. I have only read todays so far. I need to go back to Fri. and the wknds.

Kieri- Cruise sounds fun !!! Fill us in on what you wear b/c I live for that kind of stuff. Sad but true

Ali- Good to have you back. I am so glad your semester is over. How exciting !!!

Tonya- Good luck on Wed. I had a bad wk last wk and I plan to recover also. We will survive this evil season of food

Wenwella- A day off how lovely Enjoy every moment of it! Carpe Diem (sp?)

Kirsty- Friday is my last day , for a wk. I am so excited however I do plan to work my 2nd job a ton for the extra cash. I am still looking forward to having one job off though.

Sigh. The police ball turned out to be a bit of a bust. The group that did it is called the Emerald Society, a group of police and firefighters of Irish descent. But apparently they haven't gotten very many members yet. My friend Lindsey and I were decked out to the nines. We went to the newsroom party first, at my editor's house, and left after about an hour an a half. There were a few people I knew at the ball, but Lindsey and my BF were kind of bored. So we ended up going downtown to drink instead.

I did find cool shoes — although my feet were killing me by the end of the night — and ended up getting a different dress. This one was red. I'm in a red mood lately.

I'm starting to really stress with Christmas a little more than a week away. My parents are coming here Friday just for a few days, and their presents, which I ordered online, haven't arrived yet. I still haven't bought some presents, and I don't know when I'll have the time. And we have a blank Christmas tree! We got it Friday night, but didn't have time Saturday to decorate it, and both of us had to work Sunday. Brian works nights all this week, so I don't know when we'll be able to. Maybe during lunch one day. I did put the tree skirt around it and hung one little elephant ornament on it. Kinda sad.

Hi to everyone! I hope you all are handling the holidays well! My little victory: I made Christmas cookies with friends last night, and I only ate TWO. (Course, I had three glasses of wine, which kind of negated the need for cookies. )

Time for lunch ... see you all later.

Hello all. Well, I am at home now. A stay at home homemaker. It is strange. Really, I feel more like i am on vacation, not that I have a new vocation. Anyway, baby is still inside. If i don't deliver this week they will induce me next week after Christmas. I hope we have this baby soon. I am ready and i want to meet this little guy.

Well, I need to get some things done. Hello to everyone and I will talk with you all later.

Trish

Hi everyone. Bummed out because I am so on track and maintained at WI Sat. Ughhh.... But it is ovulation week and that usually means a gain for me. I don't normally gain on TOM week since having a baby... go figure. But I am still on track and plan on going to WI again this week and hoping for at least a pound off!!!!!

We went and got our tree and decorated it this weekend. It has been damp and gloomy for weeks and cold, but no snow yet. Really puts you in the dumps. I brought in a plant for my office. Hope that helps.

KO, I hate non-digital scales. I have one of those at home and it never acts rights for me. So I don't use it. Also, the gym has one of those physicians scales where you move the weights.... yah right, I always weigh the same within one pound, so I am giving up on that one too!

Trish.... Yah, it's going to be soooooo soon!!!

Kirsty, that I so cool how you get such a long break. I am jealous!!

Quick hello to everyone - I've been bad lately, it's Christmas baking for presents and of course sampling - thank god the weekend is over. The internet police abound today and my tendonitis is bad so this is short. BF and I went away for the weekend for some much needed time alone. It was great and very rainy. Beautiful snow here today though - I'd better get back to making up boxes for my boss - it's the season for mailouts here.
Take care all

No pics! I brought my camera but forgot it in the car. And it really wasn't the type of place where you whip out a camera. I should have just taken a picture of my friend Lindsey and me!

Hi girls! Sorry about being MIA for so long! Life is sure busy at this time of year! I still have five more gifts to buy! Eeek! Oh well. My eating is pretty crappy this week. I need to find some time to plan my meals for the week a little better. I had a fabulous weekend-my cousin had her baby! A boy that they named Drake Aiden . We spent most of the day with them at the hospital yesterday. He is so sweet and so wonderful! The poor guy has a clubbed foot though so he'll have to be in casts for 8 months to correct it! Other than that he is just so perfect! WHat a treat! He didn't even have the ugly newborn redness even though he was only 6 hours old when we got there. When they phoned home to spread the news they asked to talk to their other kids ( a boy age 7 & a girl age 3) and the when they told the 3 yr old it was a boy she started screaming " I wanted a SISTER!!" and I guess she threw the phone across my aunt's kitchen!!! Too funny! She's a little redhead with a temper to match! It'll be one of those stories that will follow her for the rest of her life! Anyway it was such a special treat to see her newborn! It made my week! Now its your turn Trish!

Anyway that's all I have time for now-I should try to go to sleep. Tomorrow is another long busy day! Take care everyone!
