Doing great today with all the extra stressors of the ice winter storm we got today. No power until after 7:30 p.m. tonight but I'm so thankful for Consumers Energy repair guys.

Gotta go over in a few and do my tracker over at the WW site - I really like that. I wish we had the Monthly pass option where you can get etools and your monthly meeting for $40

Right now I am enjoying a little down time. And I do mean little little. It is a busy weekend with bowling. I managed to get my butt back on the treadmill. I haven't done much walking this week with the funeral and all. Seems like everytime I get a good routine going on the treadmill something comes up and I loss all the ground I gained.

Hey I am new to WW program. I am a nanny and my boss is the stick figure trying to lose a whole ten pounds.... we decided to try core. I realize I will be missing my sweets, but in a sense thats the good thing considering sweets are the reason i am severly plump. So as of Monday the beginning of DEC.... I am on the Core program. I had tried flex before and I couldnt portion correctly and fell off wagon many many times. i am hoping to get on track and does anyone out there know what to expect in weight losses doing the core and NOT falling off?.... i am ready for my change.

I believe WW says 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week is normal...doing either Flex or Core. Your first week or 2 you may loss more than that. This is what they say is normal. Now I had questioned why they loss so much on The Biggest Loser. The answer I got was one they were working out 5-6 hours a day (most people don't have that kind of time). Also they are under constant medical supervision (again most people don't have doctor's following us around as we exercise).

HTH

hello all! I too would like to join if you dont mind. My biggest goals are:
drink water
Stay OP
and lose 10 pounds

I would just be happy to lose anything I guess. I had a baby in June, and still think i can eat anything and it wont matter. Im worse now than when I was pregnant. Trying to make a better future.

Welcome aboard.

I have been doing the program on my own since September. I have decided to attend meetings. I signed up for the monthly pass online and I am loving the etools. I am having a ball with etools and the recipe builder.

Rose, I was just thinking we hadn't heard much from you this weekend. Did you have a good one?

I was at the bowling center all weekend. DH and I bowl Friday and Sunday nights. DSD bowls Saturday morning. And she was in a tournament yesterday...and she finished 3rd. I am so proud of her. She was going up against the best of the best. Of course the guy she bowled has no handicap and she carried 87 points handicap. She gave him a run for his money for sure. He bowled 268 with no hc and she did 229 with her hc. She was on cloud nine. I knew it would be a matter of time and she would be bowling better than me. And it has happened now.
