Default Eating under points...

I've been eating alot, but it's all healthy stuff, and I'm just not getting my points in. Am I supposed to, even though I'm not hungry & it's 8pm, go eat a fudgsicle or two?

Today I had:

coffee w/milk & sugar = 2
3/4 cup egg beaters = 2
3 pieces bacon = 2
1 pc high-fiber toast = 0
1 T Sugar free jelly = 0
a whole tomato = 0
a nectarine = 1
diet big red & lots of water = 0
1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce = 2
a pork chop, baked = 4
1 cup rice a roni = 6
3/4 cup mixed veggies = 1
another coffee w/milk & sugar = 2

That's 22 points. I'm supposed to eat 26-31!!!

I ran into the same problem yesterday, too. I had eaten 23 points after dinner. Then, I had to have a lg. fruit cup & a 100-cal bag of cheetos to get me up to 28. But I could have been done at 23 points... I was satisfied.

An occasional date under your Daily/Target point will not make or break your metabolism but like stated above doing so consistenly will slow your metabolism down.

The more you eat during your weight loss the more you'll have at maintenance.

If you follow the 8 Great Health Guidelines and a PointsPie you should never fall below your daily points.

Dairy is 4-6 points and your healthy oils are 2 points right there that is 6-8 points out of your MINIMUM DAILY POINTS.

More than likely you are subconsiously doing what many do when they first start and hording pionts in case you are hungry at night. I don't see your dairy (which there are many things that count not just milk) nor your oils.

Also use regular products rather than Diet or Light products to use up your points.

Kelly, thanks for that last bit of advice....I needed it too! Shyla, I've been having the same trouble all week.....I'm eating, I'm full, but at the end of the day I've used up maybe 22-23 points, and like you I need to be using about 28 points. I think I'll definitely use a few regular products and some light products to get me there. The fat free salad dressing and hot dogs make me gag! LOL! I think I'll adjust those and see how it goes!

I went back to the Dr. this a.m. for a blood pressure recheck and it looked better than it did last Monday when I started, but they were having their scale maintenanced so I didn't get to weigh in....I was almost looking forward to it, if you can believe that! Oh, well, maybe I'll wait another week or two to weigh myself ( I threw our scale away!) and my SIL has a WW scale. I feel better already, so something must be working, huh?

Anywho, thanks for the info!
