Hi everyone

It's been a dreary, gray day here. Started off the morning by having to dodge raindrops on my walk down to the office. It looked more like night time than it did 8 a.m.! Anyway, I proceeded to spill my coffee on my desk this morning. Thankfully it didn't damage too much.

I did manage to dodge the raindrops and get a walk in over my lunch hour. I'm so glad we have a long weekend although 2 of the days I'll be busy.

Not much else going on...I'm keeping up with my journal and my plan is to write everything down this weekend. Hope everyone is having a good day

Just popping in for a quick hello. I'm ducking out early today; hoping to get a run in before we go out tonight. DH and I have a "date" for dinner. Haven't eaten a whole lot today so that I can have a nice meal without being too far over my point allotment. Right now, my stomach is growling big time and I have to get my mind off of it or else I'm gonna hit a candy store on the way home

Have a great long weekend everyone. E you on Tuesday.

Happy last wild weekend of the summer everyone ...

I'm hoping they'll spring us soon. Sometimes uncle sam is generous and lets us out one hour early, but haven't heard any rumours yet...

ah- the weekend. Seesaw has big plans and so does Patch. I'm heading across the mountains on sunday to do my annual pepper picking extravaganza and visit to the some wineries (hic).

I shall check in, but everyone have a grand time.

Hi Kiddies,

In the midst of a 4 day weekend, but got sad news on Thursday night about the death of an old dear friend in India, so this has cast its pall on the folks back home (me & the hub). sigh... And it's grey and overcast and sticky here. I'm sure things will be brightening up for your pal one of these days....!!!!

Okay, here's my dilemma.

Yesterday went for a jog/run and halfway through a dog came running out onto the road, nearly got hit by a car. (Lovely country road). We brought this large yellow lab who was FULL of energy to her back yard and called over the owner. In the meantime, this whacko dog was running in circles and came bounding over to me and broadsided me right in the knee, causing alot of pain. She really did a number on my knee. Now i'm limping around and assuming I won't be exercising this week while whatever it is heals up. This is a problem for me - I depend alot upon my exercise for the maintenance portion of the weight loss journey. Oy vey...
