Default water intake?

Hi ladies. I am having an issue with all of the water I have started drinking. I will drink about 8-10 glasses of water a day plus I am also having caffeine free drinks during this time. However, my skin is soooooo dry that my hands feel like sandpaper and my lips are so dry that I now have fever blisters on them. I have tried every lotion and chapstick known to man and nothing is working. Before I was lucky to even get one glass of water a day and now that I have increased it, my skin feels so awful. Any ideas?
Thanks

It isn't the water that is causing it that...more than likely it is lack of getting in oils. Are you getting in your 2 tsp of health oils a day?

Also is the air really dry where you are? (heat drys out the air -- ie., running the furnace)
