Hello, ladies.
Melissa, it just seems more difficult to lose this time and I don't know what it is. The Souper Bowl sounds really interesting. Let us know if you come across any interesting soups. I like most soups, except for the cold ones. I never could understanding eating cold soup. Brrr, it's cold up your way. I'm really looking forward to the NC trip. I can't believe you actually got a good deal on the airline site.
Susan, sorry about M's dad. I'm also sorry that you are so sad about your packing. I'm thinking of you. Good luck with your training. I'm adding a little on to my running distance all the time. I'm still not running that far, but at least I run 3 days a week (and walk 3 days). Everything I've read about menopause says that if you go 12 months without a period, you are officially menopausal. My doctor has had me tracking my periods for that very reason. Of course, I've always tracked them and I was so dismayed when they started again. Oh well. It's really a mini-period and nothing like the ones I used to get.
lala, get it off your chest any time. How's the remodeling work coming? DH picked up our floor tiles yesterday and installation starts on 2/1. I'm looking forward to it being done. It's always nice to have new things in the house.
Pam, enjoy the gambling. Come back with $$$. You done good with the meal. Hey, I like your idea of no more TOM at age 30!
Plans for the weekend--work the church rummage sale (to which we contributed a small truckload). That's so interesting. Sometimes it's just interesting to see what's there and then it's also fun to watch the people go through the stuff. My job is to keep organizing stuff and folding clothes. Tomorrow is $1 a bag day. Anything that can be put in a paper grocery bag is $1. It's not a bad deal. I have a music rehearsal on Sunday, but other than that no plans.
Oh, ugh, I just received our house insurance bill. It's huge! You wouldn't believe what the hurricanes have done to us down here with our insurance.
