Default Hi Everyone....

Hi everyone,
I've been here a few times in the past and I was wondering if I could join in with y'all again? I have been doing WW online since the end of February and have lost 70 pounds so far. I was using the message boards on the WW site...but as of recent...I've been running into a few very rude people....and I just don't find it to be a beneficial or inspiring place for me anymore. I had asked a question about gallbladder trouble..because I know a lot of the gals there had been thru it....I listed my symptoms and one gal (who many people feel is God even though she is often down right mean) was upset that I hadnt been to a doctor yet...she basically in the end told me "that I could just die and she wouldn't care"...eeeek. Anyways....needless to say...I don't want to go back there any more.

Anyways...I am still looking for support and have been struggling a bit as of late.....I find I do better when I have online friends to talk with, etc. So...that's my story in a nutshell...I still have a ways to go and I really want to make goal someday. Now that Christmas is over...I've been back in the saddle...but like I said...I need support and want to be there to support others.

Ok...I guess I should go.....I hope to find many new and wonderful friends here...Thanks...
Luv,
roundRN

First of all congrats on your 70 pounds gone!! Way to go!

I've just recently joined this board and have been overwhelmed by how kind everyone is. I'm sure that you'll feel at home here.

I had my gallbladder removed in 1999, and I feel so much better without it. That itself is a long story.

Are you doing the points plan? That's what I plan on doing.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me....I already "feel" everyones kindness..it's great!!!! Beatles Fan...yes, I am doing the points plan too and i love it!!!! I've been kind of naughty lately with Christmas and all...(actually the first time since February that I deviated from plan) but I am back on the saddle and really wanting to get to goal. We really want to start trying for children but I know the closer to goal I can be....the better for both the baby and me... So....I'll be around a lot..hope that is ok....I also want to be there for others....support is such a big thing when losing weight. Ok..I better run....
luv,

Welcome roundRN and WOOOHOOO on the progress you've made. I used to frequent the boards on the WW site too. After a bit I really only visited 2-3 different threads because it got a bit clicky and bit#&y! So, I've been sort of floating around of late and found these boards. I've only been on them a few days, but the support is WONDERFUL!!!

I know what you mean about losing before ttc. I am hoping to lose 30-40 pounds by this fall so I am at a healthy point to start trying. Since we're doing IVF, I don't want to waste the effort if something I can control gets in the way of me having a healthy pregnancy and baby. So... I'm back on the WW road. It truly is a wonderful program isn't it??

Glad you are back in the saddle and congrats on your progress so far. You are a great inspiration and wonderful addition to the boards!

Welcome RoundRN. Sorry you had to deal with some nastiness over at WW.

I'm sure you'll enjoy this site, I've only been here a few weeks and I know its very helpful.

Welcome to the boards!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience there but I have found most of the people on this forum very nice and helpful.

Congratulations on the 70lbs lost and keep up the good work
