Sometimes if your WW leader belongs to a small franchise and not international you don't get all teh promotional materials. We can't use many coupons and don't get the deals that international members do. We live in rural PA and are part of the WW of Rochester, NY. Our meetings tend to cost more as do books and such. Our books run $8-$10 but I've heard otehr places you can get them for $5. Also, like I said we can't use coupons and don't get promotional materials for things like free registration, or a special weekly fee. If I want etools I have to go through a process of faxing my membership books and waiting for approval and I don't get any deals on it. Some areas just can't sign right up. So you may not have missed the coupon they just might not have it.
As far as etools go, I did WW online and frankly I wasn't that impressed. It was ok. Maybe coupled with meetings it would be better. They did have some good articles, but you can get to alot of them for free. I don't like thier message boards that much. The recipe builder kinda stinks. You can do better with something like Master cook. It is nice to just look stuff up, and with a laptop it may be more useful. I did like teh activity points calculator. That was nice. For the most part I felt like I could do better with stuff I found for free online and inexpensive software and the materials I already had from WW.
