thanks tracy. I tell you i'm a walking ww advocate i tell all my friends and family it does work its a great program and I just absolutely love it. You ladies here are so wonderful and I love being able to offer any support I can I know how hard the weight loss is it and I know how hard it is to resist that temptation; tracy how great is that you quit smoking that is a wonderful thing you did for your body . congratulations :) I know I will see you make that turkey day challenge of 189.5 you go girl :)

HI all...I don't go to meetings or do it online. I bought the flexpoints books off ebay and am doing it on my own. I checked into doing it online, but money is tight right now and with Christmas coming I couldn't see spending the money on myself. 3FC is awesome though and costs nothing! I have never seen a better board. ANd the journals are great.
I had a slip in **** week last night. My son had a soccer game. And rain was moving in, and I was getting a headache. I took some sinus medicine that another Mom gave me. It made me dizzy, and I felt almost "high". I didn't feel comfortable working out while I was dizzy so I didn't. On a positive note I did get in 20 minutes of walking before the game. (Not to brag...okay, i'm bragging...my sons team finished their season last night in first place, undefeated. They were only scored on once all season long. The tournament starts Tuesday and they are expected to win it all...Let's hope. They have worked really hard.) So today I will get a workout in early...I will do that as son as I get off here. I don't want to wait and something else happen to make me miss a workout. If I can find my tae-bo tape I will do that and tonight I will do yoga...I will need the stretching after the tae-bo. Marcie, half a clazone and a salad? That sounds like success to me. It would be an entire calzone and a salad...and breadsticks... if it had been me. Good Job! Huntersmom...you are truly an inspiration to us all. 99 pounds lost is truly an awesome feat. You are the queen of willpower! Do have any before and after pictures? I bet you look like a different person! You go girl! I'll type at ya later! |
yeah I have some before and after pics how great is that your sons soccer team being in first place that is really great :) i hope they win it all and way to go on getting in the 20 minutes of walking I know how sinus trouble is dont blame you for not working out when you were feeling dizzy. to see before and after pics you would probably have to send me a private email my files are to large I guess

well i worked out for 20 minutes with richard simmons disco sweat video that was the point when my lil guy got up . I know hes kinda strange but, ya know its a great workout and hes helped alot of people lose weight :) I like the music to its upbeat and its like yeah i can do this :)

Huntersmommy-By the way...what should I call you? I feel badly calling you by that :) GREAT job on exercise! I'm telling you...I think that is so crucial to making this work. At least it is for me..I just don't lose unless I exercise. Now I think I am addicted!! I am the same way as you with the meetings..yea I know the program..but something about going and having someone weigh me in keeps me accountable. I am bad about making deals with myself so I need someone else to weigh me. I know it must be tough with a 19 month old at the meetings. That is just when my DD decided she was not going to sit still for anything. She is now 2 1/2 and is still the same way....but going to dinner is getting a little easier. Thanks for sharing your story...I had read it before..but once again is a great motivator. YOU ROCK!! Melody- I think its great that you have the materials and are doing it with this site. This really is a fabulous site...I love it here and the support is unreal! I'm sorry you didn't get to do your workout...scary that you got dizzy..good decision on not pushing it. Congrats to your sons soccer team! GO TEAM!! Tracy-I agree with you on the online thing...but thats just me...it doesn't do for me what I need it to. Can't wait to see you make your goal girl! Well tonight DH is taking me out to dinner, so I have already planned what I will be eating and have taken those pts out of my daily's. So I am ready to go. No fear...got a plan! :D Did 45 min of cardio yesterday. Worked hard...my whole head was soaking wet with sweat...maybe I worked off a tiny bit of that darned calzone! Did great for dinner. Monday was my weigh in and I gained .6 and Wednesday was my birthday so I know I blew it. My mom is Hawaiian and she cooked and I ate. And now its hard getting back on track. I will though!! I feel horrible!!!

tryinagain dont feel bad just get back on plan tomorrow is a new day you can do this you have lost 14lbs so far you are doing a great job c'mon girl do this for you . if you have one thing during the day dont chuck the entire day just keep trying. by the way happy birthday late. hope it was a great day

tryinagain-look at it this way-you didn't even quite gain a pound..obviously, you were careful for the other parts of the week. Just pick up where you left and get right pack on plan. thanks for all the inspiration, ladies. I love coming to this thread and seeing how everyone is doing. I had a very light breakfast, and a larger lunch today-Boca chicken patty--sooo good! I think I'll take today off for exercising-I was up til 3 am last night working on a project, so I think my body is too tired. Have a good Friday! Molly |
Tryinagain-Girl just hop right back in...you can do it. I recently got off plan for 3 weeks when my town was hit by Hurricane Rita...I was just sick that I had been working so hard and then while we were displaced I struggled so bad to stay on plan. I got back into town last Tuesday and started back up 100% on Monday. I know you said you blew it on your birthday, but think of it as using your flex pts. Ditto what Angie said...just pick right back up. Start writing everything down again. That is what got me right back on track...I wanted so badly to say just forget it this week when I had some temptation this past Wed. night, but instead I figured out how many pts I went over and marked em down as flex pts and kept going strong. You are doing so awesome..keep it up!! We're here for you!!!

Don't feel horrible! It was your birthday (happy birthday!) and this is normal! Your allowed to celebrate. If not WW would not be the success that is it. Keep smiling because your doing great and you will continue to lose weight. :)
