lala, what are nainaimo bars? I'm glad your high maintenance guests will have limited time with you. : ) 64 degrees? Are you kidding? It was 76 degrees here last night. It's supposed to be in the 90's for the 4th.

You're so right about the weights. They really do help. Many years ago I used to do free weights and my body was sculpted, but I no longer wanted to be a member of a club, so now I run/walk and do strength training at home with my Total Gym.

Its nice and gray today, just in time for my campari open (basically happy hour) limited to gin and tonics and campari and soda. I told everyone that it was from 4-6 and then I was going to dinner, they could leave by the back garden. Hopefully they won't linger.

I am trying hard to stay with the weights. Its getting better.

Yup I'm planning on getting outa here early today. Not too much planned for the weekend. A baseball game tonight, fireworks tomorrow and a cookout on Monday. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we won't get the T-storms they are predicting.
