Default Back to Basics Week 2

Didn't see that this had been started for this week so thought I would get it going.

Welcome to all you new people! It's great to see how this group has taken off.

I did my weigh in this morning - down 1 pound! I was really surprise since I had a bad weekend. DD and I made cream cheese mints for her best friends wedding. Can't resist eating some while making them. Also ate too much on Saturday. I had the munchies. Tried to eat low fat stuff, but ate alot! This is a new week and starting off good. I plan on walking for 30 minutes during lunch and then going to the gym for about 45 minutes after work.

Kathy

Hi Kathy, I posted to Week one but no one seems to be there. I lost 1 lb this week and 2.075 inches.
Well talk to you later!
Have a great day!

Hello Ladies, Congrats on the losses.
This is my first week with the group. I did journal today, drank water and plan to get some exercise in today.

Mentioning exercise, A few weeks back a thread was restarted about Body flex, Oxycise and some other breathing programs does anyone here do them and if so what are the results.

Have a great evening everyone

Default Evening gang

Hi girls! Hope everyone had a wonderful Monday!

Today was WI also for me I was down 2 1/2 lbs! Which is good considering my weekend wasn't the best I didn't over eat but I didn't make great choices. Plus with putting the new floor down in the kitchen and then a big cookout I did well all in all.

Congrats to our losers Wendy and Kathy. Great job girls keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!

Wendy I would chane my SHD to be the day after I WI that gives you time to get rid of anything you MIGHT gain! That is how I used to do when I did it like 3 years ago.

Kathy love those cream cheese mints. My sons girlfriend brought me some like 2 weeks ago when she made them......MMMMM!!!!!

Circles great job on today keep up the good work and the exercise.

Tonight was grocery night, I hate going on the weekends to many people and I can't look at the labels and it drives me nuts so I go on Monday after work. So dinner tonight was a little rushed and I am tired!!!!!!!!

Hope you all have a great Tuesday see you after work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michelle

My weigh in is Wednesday. I think I am going to do good this week. I have stayed OP all week. Also, I have been fundraising, walking the neighborhood and baking. I was a cookie maker, a cookie pusher, but not a cookie eater!
All in all I have used about 10 flex points, but that is fairly normal for me. I am on week
six and really feel gfood about my progress.

I'm glad I found this site, it really helps!

May I join you ladies...you sound like a great bunch! I started WW again last Friday, the 13th. I did the program about 5 years back and was successful, but I've gained back about 20 pounds over the past year and a half. I've tried to get back on the program several times over the past year...but I just couldn't seem to stick to it. I'm determined this time. I need to do something before I put on a bathing suit!

A little bit about myself...I live in southern NJ...about 2 miles from the beach. I'm married and have a 13 yr old son. I work full time in Finance for an Insurance company.

I look forward to chatting you with you all!

Welcome Barb and Kimsin!

Sounds like we are all doing pretty good this week. I went to the gym last night after not being there for over a week. Boy was I tired last night! A little sore this morning but not bad. I plan on going back tonight. I have to run errands at noon so thought I would stop by Subway and get me some lunch. Dinner will be pasta, salad and a bread stick.

Have a great day!

Kathy

Thanks for the welcome Kathy!

I'm having a good day so far....bran flakes with blueberries/skim milk for breakfast...however I'm starving already. I find that I do much better when I eat protein in the am. Canadian bacon on reduced calorie rye is a favorite of mine. 4 slices of Canadian bacon is only 1 point...what a bargain!

Forgot to mention, I'm also doing WW online...can't seem to find the time to attend meetings...so I'm hoping this works for me.

I'm at work so...gotta go..talk to you all later. Everyone have a great day!

I have a cup of hot tea mid-morning. It's helps get me through until lunch.

Hi All,

May I join you? I really need some support. I've been yo-yoing with the same 10 lbs. for about a year now and am really frustrated. I'm hoping by making myself accountable to a group, I might be able to buckle down and stick to it for a change!

I'm 47, married, 2 DDs aged 7 & 9, ancient golden retriever, live in Wisconsin. I am horrendously erratic about dieting, but I am very consistent about my morning walk, though my golden has been showing his age of late (he's 15) so we've been slowing down some. I've been taking a walk at night now and then to try to make up for it.

Had a big-time binge at lunch today, but I'm ready to go home to my 2 pt. taco soup for dinner and finish off with a bowl of SF jello and FF cool whip. Hope everyone has a successful day!

Unhappy Motivation

Posted on Week 1 by mistake so I get to re-live my frustration.

HELP! I desperately need words of motivation. For about the past week I have been totally unmotivated to stick to anything. It's very frustrating because I know how well the plan works, but I have been eating anything and everything and don't care. I know that when I step on that scale on Friday it is not going to be pretty.

Need tips and suggestions on what I can do to get out of this mood. I'm in a "I hate my job", I hate my body", "I hate everything" mode.

HELP!!!!
