Non alcohol beers if you just want to enjoy the taste? ONly 1 point. Drink a glass of water between each non water and alcohol beverage you have.
Keep your hands full of a beverage and napkin (opposite hands) to keep out of the munchie goodies.
As for the main course can you plan to enjoy 1 burger and some of the pasta salads instead of bringing something else (unless that is the kwel with the host/hostess) so you don't stand out?
Play with the kids and/or enjoy the company of someone and chat about life, issues and other things.
You could always bring a veggie tray or fruit tray (or better yet both) with some different (W/W friendly dips <e-mail me at
[email protected] and I'll send you a bunch>) dips.
Or even wine (light wine preferably mixed with diet 7Up/Sprite/etc) coolers homemade.
