Default Newbie!

Hi everyone..I am a newbie here! I joined weightwatchers March 1st and today is my 1st weigh in. I am excited! I was doing metabolic research and lost almost 15 lbs on it but the diet was too strict and with me having 4 young kids there was NO way! Anyhoo...I hope to get to know you all and have you help me out!

Welcome Missymom24!

One of the great things about WW is that you can make meals that are good for the whole family and that are part of your plan.

Good luck with your weight loss!

Default fat Nova Sctia bride

Hi everyone, I just joined 3FC today and I am looking forward to chatting with you and getting some weight loss tips. I am a weight loss group member. We are called the FBA's (fat *******s annonymous) and we follow the WW plan. We meet at work and the group is great.
I am a mom, Meghan will be 2 in June. I gained 70 pounds when I was pregnant and I was 30 pounds overweight to begin with. I was 232.5 when I first started WW, lost 16 lbs stopped going and gained back most. I am now 225 and I am having a hard time loosing the weight. I work out 4 days a week, an hour each day and I eat very good. Mostly vegis and fruit all day some protien with each meal then have carbs with supper. I would lose 2lbs and the slightest slip I would gain 2.5 back.
I am losing confidence in myself, I don't think I will ever get to where I want to be before I get married in August. I sometimes think about postponing the wedding till I get to 150. I also have to be at 150 in order to get my breast reduction. I am a DD cup and I hate "them".
If any of you have any tips or ideas I'd love to hear them.
Look forward to chatting with you.

Jennifer

Welcome Hootymac! FBA- Seems as though your group has a great sense of humour!

Don't put off your wedding. If I had waited until I lost the "perfect amount of weight" or had the "right amount of money" then my DH and I would have never gotten around to tying the knot. And we'll be married 12 years this May

Ah, but everyone wants to look fabulous in their wedding dress!

How about taking the approach of " I am going to feel fabulous on my wedding day no matter what and losing some weight will just give me more energy to dance the night away at my reception! " that way you have some motivation but are not on the DO or DIE mindset which I find is too much pressure to put on oneself.
