and get a scoop of some ice cream from our local ice cream establishment. I was thinking about getting two, maybe! I haven't used ANY of my flex points this week, and I have 13 points that I need to make up for tonight alone.
He got me 2 scoops of peppermint stick, and I was only able to eat one of them. It was too rich for me, and I had completely eliminated all my sugar this week, so it was a little too much! I am rather proud of myself....
Thanks! I knew that I needed to treat myself to something, as opposed to getting it all the time like we used to. I looked at how we would go get ice cream after the kids went down, and we were teaching them that ice cream was a treat, but it had almost become a staple in our lives. Now it is treated the same way as it is with the kids... once in a great while. I gotta practice what I preach!
