Default question of the day 1-13-05

As I put on my lovely loden coat today, I realized that I had this coat since 1997 -- its nearly eight years old, but still in lovely shape and still styling and that my boots were from 1999 -- but they are a style that cole-haan still makes and I take to the cobbler every year after the seaon is over to clean and sole if necessary.

So, here's the QOTD --

Do you buy classic timeless clothes/shoes/accessories or are do you buy more fashion-forward and trendy clothes?

Classic clothes; trendy ones just don't make sense to me. I'm like you, lala, I have clothes that are still in style even though they're years old.
