Talking NSV's, lets hear yours!

Hi everyone, I don't know about you, but I get a real boost when I read about everyone NSV's (non-scale victories) when they are following WW.
Stuff like those smaller clothes sizes or comments from friends and family.

My most recent was yesterday. One of my patients walked in, took one look at me and just said ' Oh my God!' (No offence intended to anyone by this comment). Those three words to me were worth a million and I felt on top of the world for the rest of the day.

If anyone else has had a moment they would like to share, I would love to hear some of them.

Hope you all have a great day, with lots of NSV's of your own.

Thumbs up

I stopped in Walgreen's a few days ago and bumped into a friend I hadn't seen since July 4th....she actually shrieked.

I spend last weekend with father and the rest of my family and they noticed that I had lost weight. BUT the best for me is that I am able to pull my size 26 pants off while still buttoned. AND my 24's fit great, almost loose. I am amazed that I notice that after only 12 lbs. I can't wait to see what it will be like after another 12 are gone!

Hi Bella, you are doing so well, and must be so proud of your achievement. Its great, but weird, when you can remove your pants without undoing them. I've been there too.

I've got a fab new NSV today. Had to go trouser shopping, my usual pair for work were just falling down, and my heels kept getting caught in the bottom hems. So I went this morning to attack the shops. Saw a lovely pair of black pants, bootleg cut but they looked far too skinny in the size I hoped would fit, so picked up the larger size too (in the size I've been wearing most recently). The smaller ones fit!!!
My little boy wondered why we had so many pairs of trousers in the fitting room with us, and it was great to say quite loudly - 'its because some are too big!' instead of the usual quiet ' some are too small'. I love my fitting room moments. Today is the first time in my life I remember ever buying, let alone wearing, a size 12 (uk size).
Very pleased. understatement.

Whats your latest non - scale victory? Sometimes just the smallest thing can help you stay on track. For me, its the smallest trousers!

Take care all.

I have these size 18 jeans that were always tight. I couldn't breath while sitting down when I would wear them. So, after losing 22 lbs I can wear them and they are very loose. I didn't notice it until yesterday when I had a pair of soccer shorts on and had to put on jeans to run errands. I grabbed the jeans put them on over the shorts; too lazy to take them off. The shorts bunched up with the extra fabric, but the jeans were still loose enough to sit comfortably. I couldn't believe that I was able to accomplish that with these jeans. I am so proud and it prompted me to exercise yesterday when I didn't even want to.

Great NSV's everyone!

I haven't lost much in the last month but my clothes are looser fitting so something must be working

My NSV for yesterday was going shopping looking for that 'little black dress' for the forthcoming holidays, now the shops are getting full of them. I found a fabulous one that was strapless (thats a first) and that actually looked fantastic. This Christmas I'm determined to look a million dollars!

Great NSV's everyone else. Looser fitting clothes and smaller sizes are a true guide that something is going in the right direction, and the comments off friends and family are even better!
