weight gain

  • Has anyone gained weight during the first week of ww? I have put on two pounds. I am really getting discouraged. I am 52, postmenopausal, and putting on two pounds a month. I am active. I walk about three miles a day. I went back on ww because my regular diet was not even letting me maintain. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Deb
  • I gained 3 pounds my first week. I was 100% OP and it was a bit discouraging but then there are many reasons:

    1) The sudden change of dietary needs can cause the body to be caught off guard
    2) A delay in the past poor eating in reflecting a gain
    3) A change in your activity (increase/decrease intensity, change of activity, change of time done)

    Keep doing it it does work.
