Default Fat and Fibre?

Hi ladies!

I was wondering if anyone still had a copy of Weight Watcher's Fat and Fibre plan lying around?
My DH and I did the plan several years ago, and it was my favourite (well, let's just say, "most successful") WW plan.
I've thrown out all of my booklets, and I really want to try the plan again.
If anyone still has it, could you possibly PM me? I'd be willing to pay for it (within reason).
Thank you!

You may want to try e-bay but that was the least successful of the W/W plans. Is there something you dont' find that you enjoy with the new program (FlexPlan and CorePlan)? These 2 new plans the the easiest and by far the best successful plans W/W has ever had.

Fat and Fibre worked really well for me. Right now I want to do a plan that I'm comfortable with, and at this time, I'm not willing to sign up for an ongoing program that I have to pay for. I already pay for a Y membership, a personal trainer, and yoga classes.
Thanks for the suggestion, Kelly. I'll try e-bay.

Ok. I just want to mention that the new CorePlan part of the program is very similiar to the Fat&Fiber plan of before (high in veggies, grains, fruits and lean protein).

Fat & Fiber worked really well for me too, Ellis. I'm sure I have it around somewhere. If not, maybe CIN has a copy.

I just looked and I don't have any of it otherwise I would have tried to get it to you. I hope you don't think I am trying to force you into paying for W/W now. I just wanted to let you know that the new program Core is very much like Fat&Fiber...and for why that was just my curiousity. I think you may have misunderstood my intent based on a recent post that was deleted.

Ellis - I have never heard of this program. If you can't find it, I had a suggestion. I can't fork out the dough needed to go to regular meetings right now, so I am doing it on my own. You could join and get the new materials and not go to the weekly meetings, just get the products. Oh, well. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I know that wasn't your intent... thanks, Kelly. I haven't investigated the new program at all. I may just take a look around here to see if I can get some idea of what it's like. It's not that I don't want to pay for it... it's only that I'm in a very wishy-washy state of mind at the moment, and I don't want to start something that I'm going to regret.
For instance, I just joined the South Beach online support (65 bucks) thinking it would force me to get back on track. It didn't. I'm too good at wasting money.
Thanks for your advice!

Melanie, if I like the program, I may join for awhile... thanks. I really find the support at WW is great (depending on the group). I've had some excellent leaders in the past. I'm not good at staying OP unless someone is holding a whip at my back.

Emerald, this is an old program from about 10 years ago.

Ellis, I found this, but I don't know how accurate it is:

The "Fat and Fiber" plan was added in December 1994. Under this plan, members are instructed to limit fat intake to between 15 and 35 grams daily (men and youths can go up to 45 g/day), eat between 20-60 grams of fiber daily, consume a minimum of 2 servings of dairy foods daily (3 servings for youths), eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily, and limit intake of refined sugars and alcoholic beverages.

ellis, Just like emerald stated most places are doing free registration (my region is not one of them we do 1/2 price) so for the cost of 1 week you can get all the week one stuff and that could help you decide. Online isn't a bad option either as it has a registration fee but 3 months worth of online is about the cost of 4 meetings. I am not trying to sway but both Core and Flex are 2 great programs that work. Core is nice because it teaches you to eat whole foods, limit starches and sweets -- no measuring, no counting points (except for the nonCore Foods which you 35 points to spend on them)....Flex is good at teaching portion control and calorie intake. Also you don't have to pick just one plan and keep it forever...you can jump back and forth between the 2 as long as it is by the week.

Default Fat and Fiber plan

The Fat and Fibre Plan is as follows: Limit total fat grams to between 15 and 35 each day, men and youth can go to 45
Eat at least 20 grams of fiber per day, men and youth min. of 25, don't exceed 60 grams
Men and women should eat a minimum of 2 servings of dairy foods daily
Eat at least 5 servings of fruit and veggies
Go really easy on refined sugar and alcoholic beverages.
I hope this helps.
