There are several including Dotti of www.dottisweightlosszone.com who have felt it. It was centered about 30 miles SW of Seattle and felt as far south as SLC.

We had a small cooresponding earthquake about 10 minutes after the Seattle earthquake -- since we've been getting them every week since Jan. it wasn't that big a deal for us, I just hope that those in Seattle are ok!!!

OH MY G*D

I have never been so literally terrified in my life. Talk about having no control over a situation. Very frightening!

I live in Victoria, BC and we felt it pretty d*mn strong! I have never been so frightened in my life. We didn't actually feel "shaking" but more so we felt a strong rolling sensation. Kind of like being on a boat in very stormy water. It lasted for about 20 seconds. Parts of the building I work in have very large cracks now and building inspectors have been checking the building out since about 1 hour after the earthquake.

I hope all of you who are in Seattle are doing OK. My thoughts (and fears of an aftershock) are with you all.

What an ordeal that must have been! My thoughts are with all of you in the Pacific Northwest.

Now, don't laugh, because I swear I was planning to call them today anyway to place an order, but I just got off the phone with Baker's Box and they are fine. They had some damage but they are in business. The bakery itself is further north and was unscathed.

Just in case anyone else allowed that selfish thought to sneak into her mind upon hearing of the events in Seattle...

Hi Everyone,

I live in Seattle. I'm doing fine. My house really swayed but no damage.

Default Earthquake

Hi, I live in Seattle, was on a 4th floor building and felt the whole thing. It's amazing how long it takes for one to register what really happened-me, thought a helicopter was bringing in a patient, my receptionist thought her blood sugars were wacky (she's a diabetic).
Lots of damage, only one death, a heart attack..
Makes one stop to think how short life really is and enjoy it while you can.
