Kelly, I want to thank you personally for all the information you contribute to these boards.
My husband started WW (at home) 2 weeks ago and his weight is not budging. He is getting frustrated, and grumpy when I try to offer advice. I am so grateful to have the plateau information you posted, so I can print it out, hand it to him, and back quickly out of the room.
Jo, my husband started doing the program with me in December. He had 15 lbs. to lose...which he has. Is your husband writing everything down that he eats? Is he measuring portions correctly? I had to "educate" my husband!
Gail, thanks for your reply. It was encouraging. My husband has 30 lbs to lose. He is a chronic undereater during the day, so his metabolism has probably ground to a creaking halt.
I'm trying to get him to eat on the high side of his points (he's at the top of his weight range) but that's a hard concept for him to wrap his mind around.
Me too! Kelly, thank you for sharing. Any tips, advice, suggestions I can get to make this journey easier is always greatly appreciated. Your posts are very enlightening.
You are all very welcome. I like to share what I've found to help me in my weight loss journey. Sometimes it can help others and that's what this board is about.
I agree that Kelly goes out of her way to offer help and information to the many people on this board. The only bit that I would like to clarify is that the 15 Tips for Breaking Through a Plateau that Kelly has graciously reposted many times is my original work. I don't in any way want to detract from all of the effort that Kelly puts into this board and many others, but I have seen many people thank Kelly for her tips, and I just want to thank Kelly for reposting them, but in the interest of fairness, if the actual tips have helped you, they're mine!
I also want to thank you, Kelly, for all your very useful, helpful and supportive information over the years while I have been posting (and lurking) on these boards.

Kelly,
It never ceases to amaze me how patiently you answer the same questions over and over! As new people come to the board, we all have the same questions, and most folks enthusiasm for answering them wanes in time, but you have kept going strong!
Elizabeth,
Those are some wonderful plateau-busting tips, and I've read them over and over. They have been very helpful to me and many others. I'm glad they're getting so much exposure--maybe Kelly could be your publicist?
Elizabeth, I too have read your plateau-busting tips over and over. Thank you for the time spent getting them in writing. Also miss your weekly meetings on-line.
