Thanks Tara, it was a BAD night for shopping but oh well...that's why I am dieting right!! I agree that they need more clothes for real people. And that doesn't mean that they need to be "bigger" it means that the thighs, butt and hips need to be fuller and the waist needs to be smaller than it all... just like usual measurements!!! Anyway!!!

I just eat my oatmeal with the water that I use to make it in the microwave. That's it, no added sugar or milk... I usually have a banana or apple for breakfast, but I didn't buy any for the week and have the oatmeal in my drawer.

The day is half over...only one more full day of work before I am out of here!! A lot of exercising tonight to make up for last night!!

Hey golfergirl.... I am in Wisconsin. We are contemplating a trip to the Mall of Am. sometime soon. I used to visit there all the time when it first opened and I was in College. I haven't been there in years even tho it is only a 3 1/2 hour drive.

Jen, swim class, sounds nice. I just wish we had a pool :P Small towns suck for some things. Very cute names for the levels

Golfergirl, shopping can be depressing, but maybe it was a sign that you aren't supposed to buy too much now as you'll be a smaller size soon I agree with
Tara that you did good with not eating the ucky sandwich! Besides, you could have done much worse the mac and cheese!

Tara, no I have no idea yet about DS when we go on vacation, it's still so far away. Today I'm going ot town and watching my SILs kids so that she can sleep. Sleep deprivation is the cruelest thing I've been doing well so far today, but I ahve to save points for supper. My mom is having us all over for a turkey dinner, celebration of the new baby I think. So that might be a hard one. The breast feeding works well for some people to not get TOM, but not all. I don't know why you want it to come though, such a bother.
Well, baby wants to go for his nap, so I hsould take him

Hey all... I have a training session this morning that I have to conduct, so I am nervous. I am a trainer, but this particular one is new to me and it is my first time training on it. I was given this job when someone else left... Ughh... I am sure I can do it, I am just not as familiar with it and don't want to stumble and look dumb.

My TOM came late yesterday and now I feel ucky!!! Hate that. TARA, talk to your doctor about your TOM and about TTC-ing. Maybe there is something that can be done. I know there is still a possibility that you can get PG without havint regular TOM's, but I would think they would want your body to be on a normal cycle before you throw it off wack again. How long did you nurse?? and did you take birth control??

Off to fill my big glass of water!!

Jen- Good luck with training! You will do great, I'm sure! To answer your Q- I haven't been on Birth Control since a few months before I got PG with dd. I am still nursing- most likely the reason for the abscence of TOM! And you are right, my doctor does think I should wean dd and get my body back to normal...but I am not ready for that.
I will be gone for most of the day- I coach Jr curling, and have to travel 2 hrs to the school I was working at to take them to district playoffs. Lots of driving...but it will be nice to see everyone again!
I am going to eat before I hit the road, and take carrots to snack on, and lots of water, tea, and diet dr. pepper.
Oh- I did an amazing thing for myself yesterday- I kicked my scale out of the house. DH took it away...and although I miss it, now I can have a life that is not dictated by daily unofficial WI's!
Have a great day, everyone!

Wow Tara, I am amazed that you still don't have your TOM. How old is your baby?? I have always had bad TOM's, when I was younger I had severe cramps and long heavy bleeding. In college they put me on BC's to regulate it a little. It shortened my cycle to 5 days, which is still long. So maybe that is why I got mine shortly after giving birth, even tho I was still nursing!!!

And Yah on the scale. I think my home scale is out of wack, so I rarely use it anymore. It always weighs me higher, and that depresses me. So I only weigh at the gym now, and I don't go everyday, so that isn't as bad.

I took an iron supplement yesterday and today I am feeling not as tired. Still had a hard time getting up, but I am not yawning as much. Maybe my iron is low. Maybe I should get that checked. Just hate going in and paying for that. My Office Visit Charge is now up to $25 a visit, plus my deductible still needs paying. Insurance keeps getting worse and worse here, tho I am grateful I have some. Last year was awesome because my delivery cleared my deductible out, so the rest of the year was just the office visit charge. Gee that was babble!!

Oh my training went well and I have round 2 set up for Tuesday. I was unsure about some things, but I just went and checked while training to make sure I was on track. Don't want to give wrong info. My office was all.... we like your training voice, you sound so great. So that is how I get talked into training our customers all the time. Oh and I train on our Computer Software, in case you are wondering. We are a software developer.

OK, lunch in less than a hour!

Jen, happy for you that your training went well. I can't imagine having to pay for healthcare. Although I do pay, it's $88 per month for my family, and of course our taxes are higher (I think).

Tara, that must have been hard to get rid of hte scale. I'm addicted as well. But you can do it!! Curling, I enjoy watching but do not play. Something I'd like to learn at some point. Of course we curled in high school, but I had no skill or talent Oh well. Good snack prep!

I am down, half a pound this week. Will have to do much better next week to even get near my goal for SPDay. Well, I have to go as I have a very messy house, scary.

Jen- My daughter is almost 17 months. That must really suck to have to pay to visit the doctor! It makes me appreciate our health care system here. Is it really expensive to have a baby? We don't have to pay anything (besides higher taxes, I guess!) for our health care. But we do have longer waiting lists and stuff like that.
Diana- Curling is a good sport- anyone can play! My boys won division playoffs, so now I am taking both boys and girls to districts in 2 weeks. The scale is gone- I don't know where DH took it, but I am glad it is gone. Now I can't hop on it all the time!
Well, I am a super grump. I spent about 6 hrs driving on crappy winter roads, broken up by about 5 hours of jr. level curling. Not a real fun day! Then, I got home and DH had left the house in a mess, so I had to clean up or else face the mess in the morning. So...I guess I am a little neurotic, I had to clean up (loudly and angerily) tonight. Plus, I haven't seen DD since early morning, so I am super-big-hard-boobed-Pamela Anderson-lookalike again!!
Sorry for the big complain-fest...not to mention all the hyphens! I will come back in a better mood tomorrow.
Oh! One good thing, I managed to stay OP all day, and even passed up Chinese Food with my teams after the game AND leftover KFC in my fridge when I got home. I better go to bed before I rethink that one!
Good Night!

You know, we live so close to Canada, sometimes we are tempted to move there. Health Care in the US is horrible. Both hubby and I get ours paid for through work, but we have to pay to get the kids added on. However, the rates are so incredibly high, and we have to pay deductibles before everything is covered and we pay for office visits. I am still paying off my hosipital bills from when Kate was born 10 months ago. Her costs were double what I paid for Emma 3 1/2 years ago. It is just all very evil!!!

Well we got blasted with a winter snow storm. Just rotten out and all the schools are closed. Our crappy landlord at work didn't feel the need to get up and blow the parking lot either. I suppose because it is still snowing out. But I had to walk through very thick snow. Don't get me started on him tho...

I can't wait for the weekend!

It sounds like you have a touch of the attitude I had last night, Jen! I hope your day gets better! How far from the Canada/US border are you? I live about 30 minutes from it, but we never get around to going anywhere in North Dakota.
How is everyone doing with their weight loss journeys (sp?) this week?
I am doing ok so far! I am going to set some goals to help get through the weekend:
- Go to the gym at least 2 times.
- Journal every day.
Thats all! If I can do these two things I will be fine! I am a little disappointed, I have a board meeting on Tuesday at 6- my WW meeting is at 6:15, so there is no way I can WI this week. I guess I will be able to show a really great loss the next week....
Have a great morning!

Tara, I am in North Central WI, so about 2 hours South of the Border. Funny thing tho, I have never driven over the border. Only flown to Calgary and Regina for work. We would love to drive up with the kids sometime, but usually we only go as far as the UP in Michigan.

I am eating my apple. I was hungry and knew I had an apple, so I chose that instead of crap. Is that an accomplishment or what!!!!! We are going to try to make it to the gym at lunch, but we are getting new tenants in the building and they parked a moving truck in front of all the cars and we are blocked. PLUS, it is still snowing bad! Really heavy snow too. Emma will be thrilled tho because she likes to play in it!

Tara, congrats on your boys doing so well. Too bad it means more winter driving though. So has the Pamela look left you? How did DD do without you? I don't think I could have passed up both Chinese and KFC in one day, you are amazing! Did you manage to get your house all cleaned last night? Today is my cleaning and laundry day, I like to have my weekends off. So I really need to work. I'm just so distracted with eBay shopping lately Tara, that's rather disappointing that you'll miss your WI. But it will be super when you go the next week.

Jen, we would really like the snow, we've had 6 or 7 years with minimal snow and are really dry. You should have gotten a day off work if there was no school (wishful thinking!).

Tara, my week starts on Fridays, as my WI was yesterday. So we'll have to see how this week goes. I would like to lose 3 pounds in a week, how could I make that happen. There are people at WW who can do this, but not me

I live about 14 hours from the US border hmmm..lets just say I don't cross it too often, once every 5 years or so.

Jen, wow, an apple, that would be the last thing I would choose to eat. i've never really liked apples. I'd pick any fruit over them...don't know why

Well, I should get back to my shopping Diana

Diana- Congrats on your loss. Even if you wish it was more, it is still a loss!! I have no real advice for you on how to lose 3lbs in a week. The first time I did WW it fell off in chunks of 2-4lbs per week...but this was not the case when I rejoined after dd. Just be happy if you are having any loss- I have heard that the slower it comes off the more permanent it will be. What do you shop for on ebay? I have never been there! I did buy a few things on the internet when dd was tiny- bottles that I couldn't find here. I could see how it could be addicting! But it is also hard on the Visa!
Well, this is day 3 of my journalling and staying OP. This is usually the day I fall apart. But I WON'T this time!!!!
Does anyone have any big plans for the weekend?

DH is curling this weekend, so I will be watching him, first game 9pm tonight. How about you, any plans? Hmm...I shop for a variety of things. A new remote for our vcr (dog chewed ours), used sweatshirts for DH for work, I just bought 2 pairs of jeans and two tops for myself for $6Can. They are my favorite jeans so I know just what size to buy. I have also been shopping new baby clothes for gifts. You can get brand names for pretty decent prices. Here you can only get lower quality clothes for much higher prices, the wonders of small town living. Oh and books, so you name it, I shop it sorry

Stay OP, you can do it On another thread I've been told to eat all my FP and AP and that people usually lose faster if they do this. I'm going to try that, maybe that's what I 'm doing wrong

Well, gotta go is unhappy, Diana
