Angry Hi--I'm New

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, but have been using the website for a couple of months. It has a lot of useful information that is a lot of help. I have always been a little heavy but it was never really out of contol. I recently have been going through a lot of emotional and mental things. My family has gone through a lot with my parents splitting up and an unexpected death and illness. i also had gotten married in the middle of this. over all of it i have gained about 50 pounds in the last year and a half. I have found that i use food as an emotional backdrop and eat uncontrollably when i'm upset. Even though i know this about myself and know that for health reasons ( high cholesterol and family history of diabeties) I need to loose the wieght, I still have trouble motivating myself to do this for me. However i have decided that i do not want to live this way and want to better my health and mentality. i had followed ww before with success, so plan to do that again. thanks for reading!

Hi Still Smiling!!
I'm new here too! I just started WW last week and have about 60 pounds to lose. This, after trying every diet known to man!!
I have decided that WW is probably the best route after all!
Good luck to you.....none of us wants to be fat! Life doesn't always change drastically because we lose weight, but it's better than going through the rough times overweight....if you know what I mean!!

Oh....I have also been going to Curves for the past 6 months and, if nothing else, I find that it just makes me feel good to know that I am "moving" 3-4 times a week. It's a pretty good workout for someone who hasn't done much exercise and I think it works great along with WW.

Hi Stillsmiling! Definitely try Curves. I never did ANY excercise and found that at 62, with over 60 pounds to lose, I'm loving Curves!!
