Question exercise and points

Hello. I know that 20 minutes of exercise is worth one point. But does this have to done all at once or can it be broken up?
I mean can you do like 10 minutes and then later do another 10, Im talking about walking.

Thanks.

Actually that is a very, very old way of figuring points. It is now based on current weight/intensity of workout/length of workout.

LOW - you can talk and sing
MOD - you can talk but not sing
HIGH - you need deep breaths to talk

Now having said all that a mathematician took the W/W Slide rule for Activity Points and did this,

Light Activity:
Weight X Minutes X .000232 = Activity Points

Moderate Activity:
Weight X Minutes X .000327 = Activity Points

High Activity:
Weight X Minutes X .0008077 = Activity Points

I think any way you get exercise is a good way, but yu really should work your way up to 30 min to get the cardio benifits. Good luck and keep going
