I love Flexpoints. It is the same with a different mindset.

I think I will try and save Flexpoints for weekends and have plenty. I always find that I eat more planned meals during the week anyway! I like the structure of the week and some freedom on the weekend so it will be perfect!

The new material is awesome!

Cin is so right. Nothing really has changed except for how things are counted:

They want you to get to your minimum daily, eat any activity points you earn then use your flex points.

If you look at the FlexPlan this way:

you have a minimum to eat just like before.
you have a maximum to eat just like before by dividing the Flex Points over 7 days gives you a 5 point range to work with...if you don't eat them push them to the next day or spread them out over your remaining days or don't eat them at all.

The only difference now is you use your activity points on the day you earn them and you use them before you start using your Flex Points.

If you have been doing Winning Points nothing but the way it is counted has changed except they went back to when 1-2-3 Success was in place and people ate higher and lost better until they started to abuse the fiber and that rule they are keeping and not changing back.

If you are concerned about the addition of the 14 points per week: I have a friend who consistently ate 1 range about where W/W suggested her to and she now maintains on 35-45 points a day because of this. I know someone who ate in the 18-27/25 range the entire time and she maintains on 22 points a day if she goes over that she gains.

Which person would you rather be?

I think the FlexPoints program is a winner.
Journalling is simpler. The "checkbook" format with points being deducted as they're used makes so much more sense.
I love the way the Week 1 book, "Getting Started", was re-written.
For someone like me, who has joined so many times I've lost count, a new approach like FlexPoints has proven to be very inspirational.

Actually the only thing I really hate about FLEX POINTS is the new journal. Luckily I picked up several of the old journals last week at my meeting. I am going to ask my leader if there are any of those left. I will more than likely take as many of them as I can.

I also was wondering how everyone likes the new flexpoint system. I've been lurking in the forum when I knew WW was going to change the way they counted points, so hope you don't mind me popping in. But, I got something in the mail from WW with coupons to rejoin and I'm trying to make up my mind whether or not I want to. I did join last Sept. and lost 12 lb., but went on vacation in Feb. When I got back I just couldn't get back into the swing of things and stopped going to meetings. I have gained back everything except for 3 lbs.

Have a good day everyone.

Kelly, I also don't like the new journal. Find not enough room for detailed journalling.

Have a good day, everyone.

I haven't been able to get to a meeting as of yet, could you let me know the point range with the new program for 175-200 lbs?

I think you have a daily target of 24 points only plus your 35 Flex points that you get to use over the course of the week. But don't quote me on that as I just got the new package on Monday and I only get 22 points

I am having a little trouble with the new journal but I think it is just a matter of adjusting to the new system. I got home yesterday and realized I had only 4 points left for dinner so I had to dip into my flex points which I am trying to save for the weekend.

Kelly S- if you run out of the old journals just do a double sided legal size photo copy of one and fold along the seams - I did that when I was doing WW on my own and couldn't attend meetings because of my job.

I really like the new journals, but I wish they weren't so flimsy.

I do like the register approach. Its just hard to start the day with 20 pts. You can bet your sweet peas that I am earning and using my 4 activity points.

You should be able to but the new QuickTrak 12 Diary at your meeting. The lines are larger and you can write more detail if you want.

I actually have one I have done on the computer. I put in my info and it totals and stuff for me. I am just a 'b*Tch*' when it comes to the actual thing!

Thanks for letting me know it works on legal size paper...I tried once but it cut things off.
