HI guys - been out of town and came home to a loss...which of course makes me think my scale is broken, but there's nothing else I can do but trust it

Weekends are the hardest for me - I usually keep to plan during the day and then fall off the wagon in the evenings. Once or twice a week, no problem with weeklies, but four days in a row - like last week - not so good for me.

Hi, I'm Mandy, and I'm hoping this will be my final time working through the WW program! I started online-only back in March 2015, and I though I was doing well. I fell off a bit for a few months, and then decided to start going to meetings. My first meeting was this morning, and I discovered that my previous at home weigh ins were WAY off! I didn't let it bring me down. Two weeks ago, I started working out 6 days a week and tracking EVERYTHING. The scale may not reflect it yet, but I'm feeling SO much better physically, mentally, and spiritually!

Hi all! I'm new to WW, but I'm enjoying it so far. I've not been hitting my points goals, though. They suggest 55 for me, but I only ate 30 today. Is that an issue? I did not feel like I was starving myself and I do feel satiated.

I get 52 points/day, and it is difficult for me to hit. I definitely try though, because as I lose weight they'll continue to lower my points allowance, and I don't want to get to 40 pts and plateau because that's what I've been eating all along. You can bring up your points value by switching back to full fat/higher calorie versions of what you're eating (still measuring everything, of course). I've also really been trying to focus on my protein intake, so I do lean meat as a snack, as well as nuts and seeds.

Hey Chipper,
I live in Hilton Head. From Virginia and really miss the multi meetings all hours of the day and At Work Meetings. We have limited meetings here so I just rejoined as an Online member. Love weighing in totally in the buff as soon as I get up .
Love the online tools and very curious on what the changes are going to be in December!

I try to have a fair bit of protein but I'm also pescatarian, though I mostly eat vegetarian, so I feel like that might have something to do with it to? Maybe Vegetarian protein sources are lower in points? I'm not too sure. Maybe I'll start adding one more snack a day.

I did weight watchers 27 years ago. Found it pretty hard going but lost the weight. Has it changed much since then?

I've found it pretty easy so far. Last time I tried to lose weight through calorie counting, I got really obsessed almost to the point that when I think back, I think I may have started to develop an eating disorder. I really feel like I'm able to make good decisions but not have to worry about every single calorie going in and coming out.

Thought I would check in. I've had a couple of bad weeks. Thanksgiving was OK, but I may be above maintenance weight in December (in which case I'll have to pay).

Fatbloke - 27 years ago is about when I first joined WW. At that time, it was an exchange program. Now, WW does a point system. I liked exchanges but I think points are easier. The new program, though, is coming out in December. I think there will still be points, but they are likely going to focus more on sugar and saturated fat. There may be other changes too. WW says the program change is the biggest in 50 years. I tend to think some of that is hype (I think going from exchanges to points was a really huge change), but we'll find out in a couple of weeks.

Went to my second WW meeting this morning, and down 1.4lbs after Thanksgiving! So glad when my hard work pays off. I have a LONG way to go, but I love this program and I know it'll work.
