Congrats Kitten !!!

Sorry I've been absent from this thread lately... I did go to my WW meeting this past Tuesday and was down a pound, but I had bumped up the week before so I'm still above my 5% goal right now... I've been actually spending some time this past week learning the food exchange system which I'm really liking... And also I found a brand new still in the box Richard Simmons Deal-A-Meal on Amazon... so I snapped that up and have been having some fun with that... Although I'm not carrying my Deal-A-Meal wallet with me everywhere I go just yet... Lol... I've always liked Richard Simmons, so even though I never did Deal-A-meal back in the day... I'm really grooving on the nostalgia of it that's for sure...

So I'm just plugging along... I'm still determined to earn Lifetime at WW... But from what I'm seeing with the way my weight bounces around now in the 160's, I can't imagine it's going to be any different in the 150's... So I'm really not sure how I'll be able to maintain my weight within 2 lbs of ANY number on a scale... Actually I just found out that TOPS I think allows a 10 lb range... from -7 lbs below to +3 lbs above your goal weight... Which sounds so much more realistic to me... But I understand WW is a business and they need to make money... So it is what is as they say... So hopefully I'll be able to stay within that very tight 2 lb range for the six weeks... Even though I just don't see any way that I'll be able to maintain such a tight range... I mean that's just completely not realistic... Oh, well... I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it...

Anyway, I hope everyone else here is doing OK... I'm grateful it's the weekend of course... No big plans... My usual of seeing some friends for brunch later today and I'm planning on swinging by a Bed, Bath, and Beyond and treating myself to some new kitchen gadgets... I saw a really nice salad spinner that I have my eye on... And it's very plan friendly of course...Lol...

Have a great weekend everyone!

Oh my... you're only allowed a 2 pound fluctuation? I could go up/down 2 pounds just depending on how big of a **** I had that morning. I've never even considered the possibility of lifetime membership. The "healthy weight" range for my height seems, for now, unattainable. It's like 130 pounds. I'm sure it's possible, just doesn't seem like it today. I would have to lose more than half of my body weight!

Kitten ... You can get a dr's note for a "healthy" weight out of that range that WW uses... I've thought about doing that... especially since I'm pretty happy with where I'm at right now... My problem is I'm still holding on to the idea that I might be able to get back down to what I weighed a pretty long time ago now... It's funny I was looking for a cookbook of all things today and I came across one of my old journals... So I decided to take a little trip down memory lane... Well... Part of me wishes I hadn't, because I came across and entry where I weighed 127 lbs... And of course I began to think "well, why shouldn't I be able to weigh that again?"

I mean talk about CRAZY...

My husband's official WW goal weight is 184 (the top of his range) but he has been around 177 for months. The nice thing about being a few pounds below the goal weight is that he doesn't have to worry about any kind of temporary fluctuation. I'm 3.6 pounds away from goal and plan to follow the same sort of plan.

And, it seems like I will never lose that 3.6 pounds. I've had 2 great weeks. Ate well, good activity and no loss. I haven't gained, but no loss. I am doing weight training 3 days a week (twice a week with a trainer) so maybe that has something to do with it.

Weigh in today was down 1.2, which is good, but the last two weeks of .4 and .6 haven't been great. I had a goal to be 210 by the start of my vacation next week, but that's not looking possible. Trying to keep positive but some idiot on FB today was posting about losing 12lbs in 21 days on a "fat shredder" diet. The healthy route just takes sooooo much more time.

Hi! my name is Kim this is my first day of weight watchers looking forward to reaching goal. Need to lose around 30 pounds. Would like to eat as clean as possible with some treats. I also will aim to balance my protein with carbs. My new kick is getting around 40 grams of fiber a day.

Hi all I'm Julie. I'm not new to Weight Watchers. In fact I lost a majority of my weight loss came from Weight Watchers. I'm back again and wanting to lose (FINLLY and FOR GOOD) the final 60 some-odd pounds. I started back on June 5 and have so far lost 2.6 pounds. I'm 35 now and so it seems like the weight is wanting to come off much slower. Ugh. But one foot in front of the other, huh?

Indeed, Julie.

I finally weighed in for a 1 pound loss. I'm .6 pounds away from being free lifetime again (2.6 pounds away from goal). It is just so slow now. I'm getting good and exercising a lot, but just tough to get these last 2 or 3 pounds....

Hi fellow WW's

I'm just back from my weekly meeting... I'm up A LOT... But I was expecting it with the way I've been eating lately... I'm not even upset about it... This happened last time too... I lost about 50+ lbs and then just couldn't quite keep it together to make it the rest of the way to goal or the time I did make it past goal I struggled to stay there... Well, at least I'm learning that my body really doesn't like losing more than 50 or 60 lbs... It just really starts to fight me at that point... And the other good thing I'm learning is that WW works great for me for maintaining... Since rejoining back at the beginning of May, I'm at least maintaining the 50lbs I had already lost in the previous year without WW...

I really enjoyed the meeting today... So I'm going to keep going and weighing in... But I've decided to do Ideal Protein again... I just feel I need that structure and the coaching right now to get me to goal...

I'll keep you all posted...

I haven't dropped in in a long time but this morning I got on the scales and it read 69.9kg!

I would not have weighed anything with a 6 in front of it for 10 years at least. And this also means I've lost more than 20kg!

Still got six kg to go but I am so happy and proud of myself.

Congrats Flickety! You should be proud!

I got back from vacay Thursday night and Friday is my weigh-in. I braced myself but was only up 0.4! I think it's because I basically let myself eat what I wanted for dinner, but kept it regular for breakfast and lunch. I also avoided alcohol, which wasn't as much of a sacrifice as I'd feared. One more vacay before the big wedding in late August. I really hope I can get to onederland by then!

Grats, flickety. Elaineindc that is great for a weigh in after vacation.

As for me -- for the first time in almost 24 years -- I weighed in this week exactly 2 pounds over my goal weight so am now free lifetime again! I do still have 2 pounds to get to my goal weight (and my current goal weight is higher than what it was 25 years ago).

I'm just super excited and happy to be considered lifetime at goal again. I weighed in exactly 2 pounds over goal so if I fluctuate up at all I'll have to pay for the meeting (which I would hate). Still I was able to cancel my monthly pass so even if I had to pay for a meeting or two it would be worth it.

I still have lots of goals, but most of them are more body composition related. I want to lose body fat and if I lose more weight lower than 146, then fine but the main goal will be improve my body fat (which is still too high).
