It seems like we are always busy! We used to do more structured Mommy & Baby things, like baby massage class, and parent & tot swim. Lately we are just running from Point A to Point B! I have other friends with babies, though, so we visit. Lauren is just getting interested in playing with other babies, it is really sweet!
How big is Aidan? I am excited to get Lauren weighed and measured on the 16, it has been 2.5 months since her last needle and check up! She seems so big to me!
Our weekend was ok. Busy, I was applying for jobs all over the place. I am so tired of that! It is 1:00am and I can't sleep because I am worrying about finding a job, and then how I will deal with breastfeeding if I do find a job, and childcare... I am sure you went through it all once already when you returned to work!
I think I would feel better about life in general if I could commit to WW for 4-6 weeks and lose the last bit of weight. I just can't seem to do it though!
Any word on when you will be done work?
Sorry if I am being a downer, so many things to think about!
Goodnight!

You're not being a downer at all! I know the stress you're talking about, believe me! The breastfeeding thing is tough. I'm really glad I didn't wean him altogether because I would have been really mad to go back to work for 1 week then return home!! We have been doing bottle & breast for a couple of months now. I usually do morning & nighttime breastfeedings, then bottle feed during the day. Of course if I'm with him & he wants me during the day, he gets me. He hasn't had any trouble tranisitioning--thank goodness. We got lucky with child care, our mom's and a friend of the family split the duties. I really hate farming him out all week long though.

We went to the Dr.'s yesterday & he's a whopping 15 lbs, 25 inches! We're psyched! I would LOVE to do a parent tot swim! That sounds great! Of course then I'd have to get a bathing suit ....

Try not to worry too much--everything will work out. As great as it sounds to be off for so long, I'm sure it makes it that much harder to go back into the owrkforce. I'm already thinking about it & I'm still working!!!

The weight thing is tough too-I know what you mean. I have a long way to go & I just can't seem to get moving.

Well, hang in there--talk to you soon!

It's hard to find motivation to get moving on the weight loss thing! Even starting small is good, though!
Are you done work now?
A bathing suit isn't too bad when you ahve a baby to carry in front of you and block the fat!
I am a little less grumpy today, thanks for the pep talk! I know it will all work itself out, there is just so much to consider!
Hope you have a great day!
Let me know when you are ready to do WW, I need a good partner!

Hi!

I have to work until June 30. I'm looking more forward to the end every day!

I like the idea of the baby blocking the fat! I will have to have another to cover my hind-end too though...

I swear I'm gonna start WW soon. I think it will be a little easier once I am home & have more time to prepare meals.

I have to attach a picture of my little man. Hope it works. We have a digital camera & it was the best purhase we could have made! That's him in my avatar too... Do you have any pics of Lauren?

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. Have a great day!

Adorable!!
I got Lauren's 6 month pix done at Walmart, and they were great. Instead of getting the 5.95 super pack, I ended up spending over $90.00. She is 8.5 months now, and I think I might get 9 month ones done too, just because I got suckered into buying a card and they have more new backgrounds...
Anyway, I think my mom has some pix on her computer, so I will try to get one to post!
I had WI last night, and stayed the same despite my lack of exercise and extreme eating. So now I need to get to work and LOSE!
Have a great day!

Congrats, Judmom! And thank you! I hope all that running around counts as cardio!

Saskie--Thanks! I know what you mean about the overwhelming urge to buy a bigger photo package. We haven't taken him to get them done yet, we've been taking a lot at home. I LOVE photography and snap at least 25+ pictures of him EVERY WEEK! Good thing I don't have to use film--we'd be in the poor house!

Good for you for staying the same--better than gaining, right?
I ate terribly today. I don't know why I fell off the wagon. Back on tomorrow!

I wouldn't worry about one bad day, just get back on the wagon! How did swimming go, byt?
I have a job interview today, it is just under 2 hours away from here. My mom is coming along to watch dd. That way I cn nurse her right before I go. We will be leaving right around her nap time so the ride there shouldn't be a big deal. The ride home...well, we will see how that goes! She has attitude sometimes now!
I am super nervous, the interview is for a position that is neither my grade levels or my subjects. I think it would be a great learning experience, though!!!!!!
So...17 days until your last day. With days off, it is probably less. You must be so excited! How long will you be able to collect EI?
This job I am interviewing for is a maternity leave until the end of January. That would be ok.
I better go look over some more material. Have a great day!
