Default This is my 4th time attempting WW already this year :(

I began Weight watchers on January 21st and in the 1st week I lost 9lbs! I was so excited then the 2nd week I gained 1 lb & it threw me off completely. I also went through ALOT around Feb, I lost my unemployment, was completely broke, had to quit going to the meetings and couldn't even afford etools, me & my bf were having so many issues I was planning to move out (& i live 8 hrs away from all my friends and family so I had nowhere to go) and it was just insane!! This whole time i was still trying to stay on track but i kept messing up.

Finally around April things got better, I got a job and me & my boyfriend are doing sooo much better. SO I tried to restart late April & just didn't stick with it.

So Saturday I rejoined, paid for the monthly pass and today I started back on track. But ittle things will throw me off, like I stayed up really late so I woke up around noon Im not hungry at all and ate 1 kashi bar and coffee.
Now I feel like I started all wrong & I didnt start it right and etc...my minds so messed up!

I also feel like i have too many points, I got 41 points (im female 5'5 in my 20's and 267 lbs) and I read that each point is 50 cals so thats like 2050 cals!! Thats seems like so much! I feel like at that rate eating all that Ill be losing like .5 a week. Now i know that it says that this is the healthy rate but the size I am i should be atleast losing 2lbs - 3 lbs a week & if i ose at .5 ill become discouraged i know it.

I also have like this voice in the back of my mind that WW doesn't work for some reason, I don't know why I think this way, maybe bc alot of people always talk bad bout WW, but I dont know why!

As you can probably tell from my post I'm like panicking.

I dont know what to do i feel crazy and that ill never EVER get this weight off me!!

help

First, breath.
Second, stop quitting.
Third, if points and money make you nervous - switch to calorie counting which is free on Sparkpeople and other site.

You have to calm down and commit for the long haul. Life will always throw curveballs, if you let your eating go when that happens, you won't lose.

Like anything, Weight Watchers works if you work it. As does calorie counting.

Check the points on your kashi bar and just count into your daily allotment. I started at about the same weight and found that I needed high point items to work all of them into my day. You haven't screwed up.

Relax and realize that weight loss is hard work. And as is true of so many things, you only get out of it what you put into it.

Ditto! I play mind games like that myself. Stop quitting. Keep with WW. Don't second-guess it. Look at how many people it has worked for
I'd say give it a good 6 months before you quit again - if you get nowhere with it.

Weight Watchers does work. If you do it right.

It's basically Calorie Counting with different packaging. Plus it has meetings etc

I successfully lost 55lb and hit goal with WW.

You need to do it right for it to work.

Also I am a serial WW joiner. First time was in 2000 and I weighed about 5lb more than I weigh now at goal. Every time I joined I weighed a little more.

This time I made a promise to myself that it would be the last. No quitting. EVER. And I haven't. It's the longest and most successful time I have had with the program because I did it right.

You can too. Believe in yourself and believe in the program.

I agree with the top posters - Stop Quitting and give it 6 months. I started around 34 points. Given that my 2 fears with dieting were being hungry and feeling deprived, starting out with so many points made it easy to begin. And that is what I did, I simply began. It gave me time to learn about Points Plus, Power Foods, and, our favorite, Tracking. In the first few weeks, my loss was about 1 - 2lbs/week - that is about the rate I gained it, I reasoned, therefore an acceptable rate of loss. The double edged sword came in with another weight loss where my points decreased. By this time, I had tracking down and GHG.

Know this - your PP is your MINIMUM to eat. Most people will stall their weight loss if they eat less than their PP daily value. I know this personally.

Give it some time and quite quitting

FlygURL said it perfectly for me. And the peeps up top have great advice.

Stick with it, take it one day at a time and you will see results! Good luck!
