Default Evening Points?

Hi,
I'm new to Weight Watchers as of this morning, and I'm already stuck. I put in my food today and I'm going to have about 10 points left over after dinner.

Is it okay to eat an evening snack of 10 points? I can't help but think of the rule of "don't eat after 7pm."

Maybe I should eat more at dinner?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It is ok to snack after dinner if you want, but if you are truly not hungry don't force it. Since you are new it will take a bit to get used to planning out your food to balance over the course of the day. Don't sweat it

I agree with what Nancy said, especially about it the part where since you're new it'll take time to figure out splitting points throughout the day

I do snack after dinner (often after 7pm) so you can do that or you can eat more at dinner. Either way is perfectly acceptable. If you aren't hungry, dont' force yourself to eat 10 points, but you should work on trying to get things a bit more balanced throughout the day so you don't run into this again. But, like anything else new, it will just take time to figure it out and we are here to help!

My first week I felt I could not get all the points in too.....I am so over that...lol. You are being so careful, eating lots of fruits and veggies and they count as 0 points...I did that and had all these points at the end of the day. When you are first starting the way around that is plan out the entire day, do tomorrows tonight, it is also nice to know what you are making for dinner, and not be wondering all day.

I'd add on to dinner but you can also have a snack if you are hungry later. There's no reason not to eat after a certain time unless you're prone to heartburn or if it will interrupt your sleep, IMHO.

Can you post what you are eating? Based on your weight, I am guessing you get 29 points a day, so to have 10 leftover is quite a lot! Are you getting your GHG's in?
