Default Weight Watchers almost cost me a job!

So I haven't worked since fall 2010. I have recently started looking for work again, I have a closet full of "work clothes" as a matter of fact when I first stopped working I had to go shopping for jeans and more casual outfits. So I had my 1st interview on Friday and went to put on my nice suit and I was a HOT MESS the pants were hanging off the jacket was too long lol. I almost didn't go on the interview! But my sister came over with some tops and I found a pair of pants that use to be too snug that fit a little less baggy than the others.
It was a real problem, but as far as problems go it was a pretty nice one!

Woohoo! It is both awesome and sucky when clothes become to big. Awesome because you are losing weight, but it sucks when its your favorite top or it leaves you with nothing to wear.

Congrats on the progress!!!!!!!

Hah, gotta love those things - being bad in such a good way. Glad you were able to figure out something that worked and congrats on the loss so far!

That's a great disaster to have if ever there was one!

I'm glad you able to find something to wear, and good luck with the job hunt!

Default Good for you!!!

I had a similar situation. I had lost my first 20 pounds and was going to a convention away from home and would need nice clothes for almost a week. I realized almost all of my clothes were hanging off me. You can only do so much with a belt

Because I still have quite a bit to lose, I really didn't want to go shopping and spend a lot of money if within a month they would also be too big. So I checked out the local thrift stores. And boy was I pleasantly surprised!

So many of the items still had tags on them. The only bad thing was there was nowhere to try on the clothes and I wasn't exactly sure what size I would need. So after holding the clothes up and guessing, I bought 4 complete outfits...for a whopping $35.00. Only one item didn't fit. And when I 'outgrow' those, I will be donating them back.

Thanks guys! Wow Debsline 4 outfits for $35?!!! Wish I could find a place like that.
The interview went extremely well, but it's one of those places where there are 2 or 3 interviews so I better find a few more outfits fast!

i think this is a great thing to hear lol. Great work on your loss!

In my closet i have things ranging in all different sizes... cause i go to the store and i never see something and say "awww i cant fit in that!" If its reasonable, i will buy it and i WILL fit into it, so it is something to look forward to, its like clothes shopping in my closet every day, and i forget about things i buy, so everything is new. Atleast its all stuff i like haha. But, i also quickly remove things that dont fit due to being too big, because i will NEVER be back in thos sizes again, and i dont want them to be an excuse to gain weight back.
