Well chickies this week for me is all about water, journaling and strength training. I have talked myself into commiting to 1 month of strength training to see if it will help with the weight and tone up this lose skin and heck maybe it will even be fun?

So far I finished day 1 LOL and am so sore but that is ok I know that is part of any new routine.

I only lost .2 this week, but I'm noticing I have a pattern of a few very small weeks followed by one really big week. Last week was a small week, too, so we'll see what happens this Monday!! I worked out a bunch and my eating plan that I mentioned last week for the Film Festival worked out perfect. I even was able to fit some movie theater popcorn in

Right now I have a sinus infection, I think it's the change in weather. Ohio just can't seem to make up its mind! But even though I was feeling a little under the weather, I did my Couch to 5K last night. I'm already up to Week 5 and while last week it was really tough to feel motivated and I struggled through each day, last night almost seemed easy! I got done and thought "Hey, that wasn't so bad!"

Work has been absolutely crazy the past couple of days!!! And it just seems to get worse each day...I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring! But I have been doing awesome food wise!!! The gym is good....signed up for some "classes" about what weights and machines to use for weight training and I have learned so much!!! My friend and I are trying to put all the information we learned together and put together a program. We finally did some arms and legs work today and have been doing abs every day since last week.

Every week whenever there is any type of challenge anywhere on the board, I always say that I want to do more weight training. However, I was never really familiar with what to do and just stuck with the cardio. But I am very excited now and can't wait to see how the new routine sticks.

I only lost .5 this week but that's okay, at least it wasn't a gain and I had a baaaaaaaaaaad week with food.

I have committed to exercising hard every weekday this week so I set up a schedule. Monday was a 2 miles walk/jog and 20 mins kickboxing, today I did an hour of Tae Bo (wheeew) tomorrow (wed) I will walk 5 miles, Thursday 30 day shred and Friday walking again.

I am also upping my water and protein and I want to see where it gets me on the scale, probably not far because I'll be retaining water but I expect it will come off in a flush or at least I am hoping so.

Iam in drowning in work the next few weeks, but that is actually great for my WL plan. It forces me to be organized about me meals.

I need to get more water in today but other than that all is well

Tudor Rose, I can totally relate to that pattern! I have a similar one. Sometimes my slow/bad weeks are even gains, but the big week always makes up for it. It really does get that much harder when you have less to lose!

Chele615 I am so in the same boat as you as far as weight training goes and I was/am stuck doing all cardio. I would love to learn more about what you are doing. I started Monday with a weight routine that I complied after doing a lot of reading.

It's 10:30 and I am starving today! I have already eaten my lunch, and I'm satisfied, but now I need to plan an extra for actual lunch time It will probably be a salad with some protein - that will help points wise.

On a good note, I think I've figured out why I'm hungry - I don't think I ate enough points at breakfast - only had 2 pts. I'm seeing a treand that if I eat at least 5 points at breakfast, I am good for the day.

Guess it's better to learn now than later! Hope that you are all having a great day!

congrats tinamparker that is fantastic
texas I know what you mean I find if I eat a good breakfast I am not as hungry later in the morning and my lunch tends to get pushed out a few hours.

Today I am taking a break from exercise I pushed to hard the last three days and am so sore I could hardly dress this morning...really it was comical so instead of going to the gym after work I am going to do some errands and have an early dinner with my DH

have a great day chicks!

We met with the trainer and went through all the different muscle groups and she showed us different machines and dumbbell routines to do in order to work up to 3 sets of 15. Some of them are definitely easier than others.

The list of all the exercises is in my car so I don't forget when I go to the gym in the afternoons after work. I will try to remember to bring it in tomorrow when I get home so that I can type up some of the information for you.

It's fun using all these machines that I've watched people do while on the cardio machines and actually knowing what to do!!!

Ugh. I feel like monkey butt. My sinuses are killing me and my throat is so sore it keeps feeling like it wants to constrict. I don't think I've eaten enough this week coupled with forgetting my BCP for two days so my hormones are all wacky. I had a big loss last week so I have the feeling I won't lose any on Monday's weigh-in even though I've eaten well. I'm at peace with that.

Hi everyone!

I'm new to WW, just started on the 14th of this month. My last weigh in was on the 28th and I lost 4.2lbs - which was exciting for me to see as a newbie.

For a week though, my appetite has been very low. I'm struggling to eat...I hate eating when I'm not hungry but I know I need to eat something. Not sure if this is normal or not...

I'm trying to add more exercise in this week but not sure where to start. What does everyone do as far as exercise?
