Glen - Congrats on your loss!
Tara - Your grampa's sounds like my mothers. Always something way too good to resist. LOL
Weekwend went well for me. Went to my cousin's birthday party Saturday and had 1/2 spoonful of ice cream and that was it. no cake or cookies. My goal is 188 this week. I will be upset if I don't make it, but if I am the slightest below 190, I willl be content. And trhen I will consentrate harder this week! I am already way aheqd of schedule. I wrote on my desk calender what my goal weight was for that week (using 2 lb per week) until my goal, and I should be at 198 this week, so I am way ahead. But, I know that there will be weeks I lose nothing, weeks I gain, and weeks like last week where I lose a lot of weight. I can handle this!

Bad point week for me. Once I get off track I can't seem to get right back on schedule & I think alot of damage gets done in between. Tonight is w/i & I am going for sure. Will post later with the results.

Congrats to everyone doing well - keep up the good work.

Talk to you soon.

I hope you do ok, bandit2! It is hard to get back OP once you are off. I am vowing not to get off for the next 8 weeks- that is when my friends wedding is! I fall off pts every Saturday, and that WILL NOT happen again! Good luck getting back at it!

Hi everyone:

My two friends missed WW meeting again last night, but I knew I had to go anyway. After missing last week & getting off track I knew I would be up - just felt it. And I was up 6# for the last two weeks. I know some is from too much sodium (movie popcorn & chinese) but honestly I was shocked to see such a big jump.

To make the challenge it means I have to lose 7.6# this week which is stretching it abit. Seems when I have a really good w/i I get a little smug about it & let things slip. So this is a good lesson for me to see how easily I can gain it back. I think my body is a "fat sponge" and anything extra just gets soaked up & retained.

Goal this week is to eat within point range, excercise, exercise and journal, journal.

Hope everyone makes their goal. Bye for now.

bandit2- It IS possible to lose that much, especially if it is mostly sodium. Once I gained 8lbs in a week- the leader was shocked. The next week I lost over 9.
I have WI tonight, and once again had one really bad day this week. I am prepared for a bad WI, but this WILL be the last one! I'll report back with the results of my meeting later!

Oh Tara - good luck with your w/i. I wouldn't think one bad day would do too much damage.

I'll keep my fingers crossed you don't do as bad as you think
(maybe that way I won't eat so much hehe)

Talk to you soon.

Hello Again! I weighed in last night and lost 2.8 pounds! I am down 26.2 total! This week I was in a conference for three days and at the mercy of whatever they gave us for lunch. I tried to eat half the food and skip the snacks-it was tough-those brownies looked great! I drank alot of water and walked the conference halls, I even worked out in the hotel's gym! It can be done if we are determined! Be strong!

I completely blew it this weekend! From Friday night until Monday morning I didn't stop eating. I feel so bad and I am so afraid to step on a scale. Starting yesterday I got back on track and am starting to forgive myself, I also am going to start exercising tonight. I know I'll never be able to hit goal by next week. But I'll just be happy if I didn't gain from my binge this past weekend! I hope everyone makes it!!!! Good luck!!

Idealperson - WOW 2/8# Good for you!
And way to go for being so good at your conference. Some of those things just give us an excuse for letting our guard down.
Congrats on getting your 25# magnet :-)

Luckyred8 - I know exactly how you feel. But we're back on track & really lucky to have such great support from these boards.

Keep motivated, everyone.

That 25# magnet was my goal for the last two weeks and it felt great to get it at the meeting this week! I have inspired 2 co-workers to come to WW, so now the work enviroment should be less threatening. I still want to lose anoth 25# and I will do-I am on the downhill side now!

Way to go Idealperson, doesn't it feel good to be "inspiring"! I have had many friends join WW since my big loss 2 yrs ago!
Thanks for the good luck bandit2- I lost 1.8# this week II attribute some of that to you- yours will come off again too!
Luckyred- Don't stress about the past, change the future! It is a good program, make it work for you!

Next week is my training shift for working our weekly meeting, so I am especially motivated to work hard ALL 7 days this week NO days off! With a little luck and some hard work I should meet my goal!
My best wishes to those of you who are struggling- it can be difficult!

Glen and Bandit2- glad to hear that you lost, even if you did not meet your challenge.
If everyone will list their total loss for the challenge, I will get a group total!
I am training to work the meetings tonight, and am a little excited. I think it will be good additional motivation for me to work hard now, and especially once I reach goal again!
I don't have a scale, so I will report back on how I do with regards to the challenge later tonight.
How about an Easter Challenge- April 20, next? That gives us just over a month? I will do that later as well, unless someone else gets to it first!
