Tomorrow morning is my weigh-in day, so I'll be back to update everyone on that front.

The good news: I stayed within my points. I didn't order take-out nonsense while I was alone at home.

The could be better news: Still have to get up on the treadmill regularly! And I should be making better food choices. More fruit & veg.

Onward we go =) This is a lifetime process, after all.

Hi,
so I noticed that my WW leader doesn't put in the decimal amount of weight lost..
just rounds it up to the closest number (the high number)..
Last week I thought I saw 241 as my weight but she put 242...grrrrr...
anyway this week at weigh-in, I'm going to start getting the exact number, right to the decimal..

Do y'all think I'm being a little anal-retentive about this?? haha

SLIM: You are SOOOOO not being anal! I do it too!!! Here at work they round (in my favor usually) but I want to be exact!

My new scale TOTALLY sucks....I had a feeling that it's WAY off when I weighed myself this morning and it was down over 2 pounds overnight....Then up over a pound just by putting on pants....and stayed at the same weight when I took the pants off (????). So, that'll be going back to the store and exchanged one day this week!!! The good news, I weighed in at work and I'm down another 1.6!!!! I've lost 11 pounds now and have not gained ANYTHING in all 6 weigh ins!!! That's just over 5%! I was thrilled to get to add 2 stickers to my chart on my desk (a coworker and I like to see our progress so we have sticker charts and give ourselves a sticker for each pound loss....we're 2nd grade teachers, give us a break lol), and to add another piggie to my signature AND get to watch the ticker move forward!!

What I need to work on......Less dinner out this week! I don't think my husband and I ate at home more than twice last week....I still stayed within points and lost...but didn't eat very well. But, for breakfast today I have apple slices and carmel dip (2 points)....for lunch I have a 6 pt lean cusine (chicken and lasagna rollatini) and baby carrots with a dip my mom made....plain greek yogurt and a packet of ranch mix (I won't eat very much, I'm going to say 2 pts). I haven't decided on dinner yet.....either hamburger helper (with ground turkey or the leanest beef I can find, depends on price) or tacos with the leanest beef and some veggies.

ETA: For education week the principal has put treats into the lounge for us. She knows that there are 19 of us doing the biggest looser and has provided not only "good" treats (like M&Ms lol) but "good" treats like Nutri-Grain bars! I'm proud to say that I grabbed a nutri-grain bar and will use those 4 points for my breakfast and save my apples to go with lunch

And, I LOVE that I'm doing this with so many amazing women here at work!!! I just made a deal with a coworker....The shirt that I'm wearing today is one that she LOVES. Everytime I wear it she says she wants it. So we made deal...I made her set a goal for next week so if she hit it then when I get out of the 200's my shirt is hers Of course I'll continue to let her try until she gets her goal She's an amazing lady and has struggled to loose the weight....I'm happy I can provide some motivation for her...but it'll make us both happy...I'll have shirt that's too big for me, and she'll be able to wear a shirt that's smaller than what she was wearing

Not at all! I think about a story my first leader told me about how she was losing 0.2 a week for 5 weeks straight and it was so frustrating for her but she just tried to celebrate every loss, and at the end of that she was down 1.2, not up, and still hanging in there. I'd rather celebrate every loss no matter the size, and not get more credit than I'm due because of rounding.

I lost 5.8 last week but I had a 1.4 gain the week before that so a net loss of 4.4.

Today hubby leaves for a week and a half, so not sure how I'll handle dinners yet, and often my lunches are leftovers from those dinners. (Though I have leftovers and other things for today, so really planning for tomorrow and beyond.) I'd kinda like to keep things simple, though still keep some variety throughout the week. Lovely, what did you end up doing?

Congrats on your losses, Turbo and KatRat!

Yeah down 3.5 don't know how that happened since I have been gaining and losing the same 3 pounds for a month now...hope it sticks

Katrat that is so funny about the shirt!...My sister is one size smaller and me we went shopping yesterday and and we decided I would give her some of my --may never get into again jeans--if she would give me her jeans as we are both on the path to smaller bodies.

Congrats to you all on the losses too....what a wild week.

Had a loss this week which was exciting! I upped my exercise. I also finally realized that this could take well over a year for me to reach my goal but I'm finally ok with that cause it feels right. I used to be searching for the program with the fastest results and when I couldn't stay on it I would consider it a fail. I think I've finally accepted that this is a journey so sit back and enjoy the ride.

I was just looking at my progress since we started these challenges. It seems go 3 weeks with little or no loss even a bit of a gain then boom 3-4lbs down...I think I can now start to relax a bit those weeks of no loss or a gain were making me crazy

luvinit: Yay for you! Don't give up Hang in there, you can do it!!

nancylmrn: You're right....It's hard not to get bummed out or frustrated when you gain or don't loose, but you're on the right track to have figured out your pattern so now you won't give yourself a hard time! Great job!

Hi girls!!! I am trying to keep on top of the posting game in the thread. Last week, my sister and nephews were home visiting, so there was a lot of running around after them and not a lot of time spent on the computer. Sadly, the kids went back to Oklahoma today which definitely stinks, but now it's time to get back into my routine!

I was up a bunch at official WW weigh-in (but I go by my home scale for this challenge), but it was TOM and a week of not the best food choices, so hopefully the scale will go back down this week.

Am I a week behind everyone else? I put my latest weight in from this weekend and people already have weights in the 2nd column. Just wanted to make sure that I'm not lagging behind everyone else. LOL

Nancy ~ It's definitely good to see some type of pattern so that you don't beat yourself up for little losses or gains...especially if you have a big whoosh one of the weeks.

I don't really know, maybe..? Maybe Lovely could help telling us when exactly is the week ''finishing'', I'm starting to be confused too! hehe

A lot of you seem to have a great week of loosing, awesome!

My ankle is doing better and thanx to my shopping spray to a Running Room store, I'm ready for winter and have brand new shoes that shouldn't hurt me anymore. My 14 weeks official training for my 10k is starting tonight and I'm super excited (even if I know that by the 4th week I'll want to cry cause this stuff is getting harder and HARDER everyweek LOL)

I haven't workout in 3 days to let some time for my ankle to heal a bit... so right now the OMG I WANT TO WORKOUT me is freaking out a bit!

On the food side, I'm doing okay. Could do better, but I'm still okay.

Have a great day everyone

Updated. I'm up 0.6 but I'm counting that as a win considering the week I had.

The good news is that gym wise I'm doing better so far. I ran saturday, I body pumped sunday. I did spin tonight. That is 3 of my 4 hours already

For the week: To clarify - We're on week 3. Since each week starts on a Monday, it also "ends" on a Monday. This past Monday would've been the End of Week 2 column. And this coming Monday, when we begin week 4 -- it'll be the End of week 3 column.

I hope that helps clear things up.

I copy over weigh-ins only if the slot didn't get filled in for the whole week. So this coming Monday, I'll copy over weigh-ins into the End of Week 2, so that only End of Week 3 is open. And so on and so forth.

At least, that's how I organize it in my head. Again, since this is only a loose Challenge (and not a hardcore competition or anything of the sort) I'm not very strict about it.

TL;DR: We're on Week 3. Which means that the "end of Week 2" was on this past Monday (11/14). Next Monday (11/21) when we hit week 4, we'll be at the "End of Week 3" weigh in.

I'll try to make it more clear about which column we're "officially" on when I post the new threads for the week from now on!
