Default 3 Month Journal vs. Weekly Journal

Which is better the 3 month journal or the free weekly journal, and why?

Thanks for your opinions!

Neither is better if you hang onto your weekly journals after filling them out. The point is to have past information so you can go back and look at what you were eating and doing when you had great loses and need some help getting back on track.

The weekly journal is compact and easily carried. The 3-month is bigger but I like it's layout better.

Just personal preference!

Back when I used pen & paper (I now track using eTools), I liked the 3 month journal, because it was small enough that I could fit it into my purse, but I could look back if I needed to remember the Points of something. The layout was nice, and it was a firm reminder of all my hard work.

However my mother likes the smaller weekly tracker.

There's nothing wrong with either method. It's about whatever keeps you tracking

I use eTools and the WW app on my iPhone now, but prior to that I was a fan of the three month because I liked having my whole history right at my fingertips (another reason I like eTools!)

But, like Quilter said, as long as you keep your weekly tracker you can still have that information.

It really is just personal preference

I may get yelled at for this, but I actually don't use either.

Before I used the app and eTools, I bought a tiny notebook and just wrote everything down in there. The notebook was about 99 cents and I was able to fit a whole year in there, plus it was small enough to fit in my purse. It was great.

I don't think HOW you track is nearly as important as the fact that you DO track

I don't know how there could be anything wrong with this method. You were tracking. That's all that matters!

Thanks everyone! I never thought of the fact that it's good to have all the history, right there, to look through. That makes sense.
