Congrats to those of you who have lost so far this week it is so great to see such positive results....my offical weigh in----Monday

well I am getting ready to go exercise with the ladies in the next building over from my office. The gal that runs it is a phys ed major and head of their safety and wellness comittee so she does a 30 min killer class for free three days a week. How much fun is that. But around 1ish we went to publix and i jumped on their scale, with shoes etc on, it read 190.

Cool! For my goal weight I think i would like to work on getting a half tattoo sleeve done on my right arm. Would stop at the elbow but go all over the top half of my arm and back onto my shoulder. I had been thinking that for a while. So now i have my goal to push for. Almost half way there I can do this!

Thanks Turbo I am so excited to get under 200. SOOOO excited! It is such a big deal to me. My plan at 199 was to reward myself with a new drasticly different hairstyle. So i went around to different places this week since i am getting close now, and want to see who can do it for me. I havent really ever gone to a salon before (my mom usually does my hair for me). so i dont know what to expect. How do i choose a stylist? how do i know they are any good? I went into this one place, and it was a posh salon... the girl at the front counter had this freakish color scheme going on. It was horrible... bright red streaks with some orange color and even shades of pink here and there> it wasnt nice :O

She told me, hold on... and went to get the "Color specialist". So out walks this woman with this bleach blonde marilyn monroe styled hair, except her roots were as black as ever and about an inch and a half long and looked ridiculous. That coupled with the fact that she had chin hairs about an inch long. as she spoke, the were waggin all over the place, i coudnt help but stare. Sooo... there's me thinking, ok. If the "color specialists" hair looks like that and she doesnt look very well kept, then... why would i wanna trust her with my hair. So now i dont know what to do. Can i ask for a portfolio or something? that place quoted me over 400$ to do the hairstyle i wanted. Which included dying the hair, highlights, special color on the highlights, cut, wash etc. I was a little put off by that place.

mercuryblue- $400 seems ridiculous. I never paid more than $100 when I was getting my professionally dyed obnoxious colors *laughs*

I've had a good week in terms of food choices, but not so great in amount. Not eating enough which I know stalls my body. I just haven't really wanted to cook. :-/ I'm on day 14 of my 30 day challenge and definitely feeling a bit "over" the whole thing but I will keep on going.

Also, incredibly nervous because I have date tomorrow. ack! I have no idea what to wear or do *laughs*

Congrats mercuryblue on your loss!

Jinksie I don't know if you can trust any scale! Lol I have been struggling with the scale for the last few weeks. But I did take measurements aug 8 and now this morning I took them again and I am down 4.25 inches overall. I'm really happy about that. Sometimes we need other forms of measurement then just the scale.
That being said I'm going this morning to try out a new WW meeting and face my weigh in. Wish me luck.

Also I wanted to say congratulations to EVERYONE this week. For either losing or tracking or just staying around and being accountable and supporting each other. I know it all makes a huge difference for me and my motivation when I stay on these boards and read how/what everyone is doing.

Have a great day everyone!

Ps I'm officially registered for the Run for the Cure 5k with my work team and got hubby to register too. I went out last night and managed to do a 5k with the pup!
