I'm down about 1.6 this week. I've been keeping active every day, that's amazing. This weekend I was a little disappointed to be a semi-bottomless pit, but I didn't go over my weekly points.
This week: I'm gonna need to keep my butt in gear. Company is visiting until Saturday. That means.... strict with myself about my food, strict with myself about getting in my daily walks, not giving into temptation... my guests are free to eat what they want, when they want. Their food is not my problem. MY food, however, is 100% my business and I will be in control this week.
Uggh. I gained 1.6 this week, second gain in a row (2.6 total). It put me back under 50 lbs lost which was a bit of a bummer. I felt SUPER bloated that day though so I wasn't too upset. Even my ankles felt stiff and puffy. We had eaten out the night before (normally I hate eating out the day before WI!), and while I did make great choices, guessing sodium might have had a hand in WI. I'm sure this week's will be better.
I'm glad everyone else seems to be doing well this week! Congrats!

Talk about discouraging...I did everything right this week. I tracked EVERYTHING. I didn't go above my weeklies, I earned TWENTY AP. Annnnndddddd, I lost 0.2 lbs. WTH. I need a hug!

I know you're already aware, but the scale doesn't always show the progress. Weight loss is far from linear.
I promise you, it might not feel at the moment like all your hard work has paid off, but it does count. It counts. It will count next week, and the week after that, and beyond.

I feel better about it today. I tracked EVERYTHING today and I did a 65 minute work out. I set up a system to "earn" my iPod that is a goal.
I came back to post my goal for the week:
Get $8 in my jar.
*I set up a jar. I owe myself 50 cents for every 30 minutes of exercise that I do. And, 50 cents for every day that I track honestly, every BLT. Today I earned $1.50.

That's a good idea! So when you'll reach your goal weight to buy your Ipod, you'll aready have money.. awesome!
Nah that was the week before this last one. But I have been peeking at the scale and fortunately both gains are gone already.

MrsD I love that system! What a great motivator. I bet it will be neat to see - as with weight loss - how sometimes it doesn't seem like much but will add up.
