  • I have read that the normal human digestive tract can hold up to 25 lbs of undigested food, so it may not only be water weight, it could just be, well, unpooped, poop.

    TMI, I know. Sorry.

LOL! I'm hoping that's all it is! I hopped on the scale this morning and went from 174 to 168. Starting to feel a little relief
  • Kimberly--you're a huge inspiration to all of us! I know that not seeing those last pounds come off like you want to finally make that goal must be frustrating! I would binge too!!

I like your Binge Free addition to your signature!!
  • Hang in there! You are my inspiration, so you can't let me down now! lol
  • Vacations can be so difficult. I, also, just got back from an 11 day vacation. I was determined to not gain. I bought a WW pedometer so I could track points for walking and determined to count points, etc.

I also found that I was imperfect. I did track a lot of earned points walking. I did keep track of what I ate.

That said, this morning I'm up 3 pounds (got back yesterday). I was eating low carb before and started out trying to stick with it. But, being gone so long and having limited food choices (me and England just don't mesh for food) I found myself eating too many carbs. Today the end of the trip I ate too much as well but I did keep track at least. I feel very bloated today.

That said...I've gone back to low carb eating today and am determined to not let this be a set back for the long term.
  • I too just got back last night from 9 days away and won't even get on the scale i had every intention of walking everyday and eating healthy. I ended up snacking and drinking everyday. I was good all day then by 4 p.m. forget it I had a physical this morning and wouldn't let her tell me my weight, but it was a reality slap and today i'm back on track and on track for good, no more excuses for me!

I feel your pain, hugs to you, we can do this

Thankyou so much I'm trying to get back some of the motivation I've lost over the past few months. After taking the weight off, I thought things would be easier but mentally I'm completely drained. This is the most difficult part, the mental aspect.

    I promise I won't

What you and I put on has to be water weight. My scale went from 177 to 163 in 2 days! I didn't know ones body could hold that much water but I'm glad it's water and not fat.

I'm to the point where I hate going on vacation because it means showing a gain. I am the only one to blame when it comes to how I handled myself during my vacation. I could have made wiser choices but instead ate junk and the results showed on the scale.

Time for us to get on track and stay there for a while!

It seems like there are many of us who just went on vacation and went off track. I don't feel so bad anymore because I'm not the only one who decided to go crazy! Maybe I just needed a week to live a little and have some freedom when it came to food. I got my fill of junk and felt terrible physically the entire week. I make the vacation about food rather than enjoying time with my family and I absolutely regret it.

We'll all get back on track and show the good results this week!
  • How many days binge free are you now?

Yes, I'm back 4 days now and I've dropped 5.5 pounds and am now below where I was when I left for vacation.
