Default Half Way There! and a question...

Had my weigh in this morning and I was over the moon to realize that I am half way to my "for now" goal! 42lbs down, 42 more to go!

I say "for now" because I decided to start with the high end number that WW accepts as healthy range. Now my question. For those of you that have decided on a final goal, how did you decide? I have been over 200 lbs for 10 years now, since I had my oldest kiddo. I honestly do not remember what it feels like to be in Onederland. I know my body is different now (I was 170 in high school and wore a 16, I am currently 216 and almost need a 14 misses) and I am not sure where I want to be. So ladies, how did you make your final goal choice?

Congrats on being at the halfway mark!

I'm not anywhere near choosing a final goal, but I wanted to give you a

I used their chart. I said 5 lbs below that to make 75 lbs lost. And then I will see from there if I want to lose more.

Congrats!
I am also at the highest point in the normal BMI with my goal. I figured I will try to get there and then I will see how I feel. As far as I have seen most maintainers can't just stop dropping weight over night. One thing I did is set an absolute minimum weight. Which is I think at BMI of 22.5, I don't want a boney body. ;-)

I didn't set a final goal yet. I'm halfway to my 'goal' but I think when I get there, I'll probably want to loose more. It all just depends. I know people that set final sizes in stead of weight. I've thought of doing it that way actually.

I set my goal based on memory. I know I felt my best when I was in the 130-140 range. I was confident, felt good physically, and looked awesome!

So, I picked 140. But once I reach that goal, I plan on making a new goal for 130. and try to fluctuate between 130 and 135.

I have a pic on my desk when I weighed 137 and I always catch myself looking at it and thinking about how healthy I look. I want to look healthy again.
