Default Weekly Chat 5/31 - 6/6

Hope everyone made it through the holiday weekend okay! And yay some people are starting to get summerish weather.

Saturday was not one of those outdoor-friendly days here! I took my brother and hubby on a 4.6 mile walk and it started raining on us a quarter of a mile in, and rained most of the rest of the way. Some drizzle, some steadier rain, not too bad. But we were pretty soggy by the end. Though literally less than 1 minute after we got into the car it started to pour so heavily it was hard to see. Hubby just gives me a withering look like 'You are SO lucky we aren't out there in this.'

rant rant rant...

i hate that i cant crack into my weeklies even a little, or i gain weight or lose nothing. So when i went to meetings, everyone cracks into the weeklies to not feel deprived, and if i do. I gain or dont lose. It's TOM but i've gained 2lbs. Cos i cracked into my weeklies last week ( i try to give myself at least one day when i eat 3-5 points, then very strict for the rest of the week). Instead last week, i went over 2-3 days.
Im losing it 3 months in, and i've only lost 15lbs which to me is depressing; to go from losing 2.5lbs a week to gaining. How do you guys do it for years!?

I usually go to Monday meetings. But it was a holiday. Was supposed to go this morning, but ended up sleepin in. Gonna weigh in tomorrow morning at a different new location and just kinda scope out the meeting.

I have a feeling in gonna just be maintaining from last week or possibly gaining. Saturday night went to dinner and split fried shrimp with my guy. Then Sunday ended up munching on chips all day at a BBQ.

I just hate when I do well all week and then blow it on the weekend. It's that TOM, so maybe I'm just retaining fluid... But I think it's gonna be a real gain. Boo!!

Last week I really didn't exercise and while I still lost 3 pounds, I felt lazy. I had a great workout today though and my turbo jam dvd came! I'm 1/3 of the way to my goal so that's also exciting too. A couple of weeks ago I definitely had a bad food week so I'm making a point to eat at home and track every bite!

Ive done turbo jam~!
ive been doing turbo fire (its like the insanity of chalean) for the past months and im SO tired. I love the hits. I hate the regular cardio. ive got another month to go but i dont want to lol. I'm taking this week off actually. Then i'll probably go back to Chalean Xtreme. You should look into all these. Great videos (cept xtreme cardio - I HATE HATE HATE (with a passion) these, so i'll be switching those suckers out)

I have TOM this week, too. And after two weeks with small losses (1/2 a lb each week) I'm trying to be very very careful 'cause I don't want TOM to make me have a small gain (even though I know that would be totally normal). Right now I'm striving to eat exactly my dailies and no more, although I might dip in just a little bit on the weekend. I'm also trying to exercise everyday, which is quite a novelty for me. I usually only exercise on the weekend.

Went this morning and finally weighed in. Two days late from my usual Monday WI. Down .4 which I think was the fact that I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt but today I had on a dress bc I went before work. Hopefully next weeks I'll be better.

I think I'm gonna finally start doing the 30 Day Shred I bought it a while back but have never don't it. I haven't done by excerise yet. And honestly I think a 27 pound loss with no working out isn't too shabby. But since my weight loss is slowing down, I guess I gotta start working out. Boo!

Catahoula, I highly recommend the 30 day shred. I just completed day 8 and I feel awesome. I didn't have to take any breaks today, which is a first. Plan on being very sore for a couple days.

So far this week is going well. Kinda bummed I have to eat supper extremely early tonight due to my son's baseball game. I hope I don't freak out and eat something right before bed. I try not to eat anything after 6pm. I guess I'll just chug my water until I feel bloated.

I just finished day one of 30day Shred. I have a feeling I'm gonna be watching it without the sound from now on. I find that woman pretty annoying. I had to stop a few times. And am now dripping with sweat. Gross!

Congrats mercuryblue! What an exciting couple of weeks.

Yeah I think they are 25-lb increments. Someone in my meeting got their 75 lb a couple of weeks ago.

I think they also mark milestones. I believe there's a 16 week charm as well, and I got the 5K charm a few weeks ago.

I should get my keychain soon... I'm going to be over 20# this week. :-)

Oooh how do i get the 5k charm?! I got the 16 week charm already. It seems so stupid to people...they say "but it looks like some old metal washer!" (when they look at the charm)... but i add in, that it means so much to have it!

I agree that the 25 lbs charm is ugly. I also have the 16 week and the 5k charms. Way cuter than the 25lb. I got the 5k charm from doing a 5k. Ididnt do the official WW 5k bc I was out of town with the band that weekend. But I did Relay for Life, so I just brought proof I did a 5k to get the charm. I actually need to buy a new WW keychain bc it broke!
