As others have said, definitely need to recheck your daily allowance. I am 294lbs, 5'4" and have 44 daily points.

Also, why are you so determined to just eat your dailies? That's what the weeklies are for! Don't be afraid to use them

I agree with what someone else said about adding protein with the snacks, but I love carbs as well so I feel your pain. I really like pretzels because one serving of the kind I bought is 19 and they take a while to munch. They're also low in calories and only 3 points plus. Mini rice cakes also fulfill that crunchy craving for me too for 4 points plus. One of the reasons I love ww points plus is because if I want carbs, I'll have them...and I still lose weight! I don't see a reason in following a plan that you wouldn't want to stick with for life. I currently eat every 2 hours(ish) and now that my body is used to it, 2 hours seems like no time at all to wait!

I think it would benefit you to sign up with your own ww account because it will tell you when to decrease your points and I think that's important. You also want to know 110% that you're eating the proper amount of points every day because that is a huge factor in your success. The internet can sometimes give misguided information so just consider it! Your health is worth that $18/month support.

I agree. My husband balked at first when I told him WW was $39.95 per month. (I go to the weekly meetings.). Then I pointed out that I would be SAVING money every month because there would be no more daily trips to Dunkin Donuts, no weekend stops at McDonald's, no 12 packs of beer on the weekends. We've hardly noticed the expense and instead view it as an investment in our future.

Totally worth it.

Carbs do not keep you feeling full so adding Ritz crackers defeats the purpose. Add a cheese stick or a tablespoon of peanut butter to your apple to get some protein and better satiety. Protein is hardest for your body to digest and burns more calories in that process, next is fat, and carbs are digested immediatly and don't burn much to digest.

I didn't think of this before - I just went to WW.com and ordered myself a points plus calculator It seemed silly to pay 2x for the same set of info. Especially since I use the computer mostly on the weekends. The app is always there with me which is what I need (DH suggested the same thing of having two accounts)

Glad you got a calculator. This way you won't have to worry if the info you find on the net is accurate

I wouldn't pay for a separate account either in your position-heck I don't pay for one at all but the calcs are well worth the money. They handle everything anyway, including that you can put in your info and get your daily target also (if the new PP are the same, I haven't actually set eyes on one). I'm not an official member of WW just doing it on my own too so a small notebook to track and points calculator off ebay were my only investment.

Here's to new beginnings for you, I hope you find success in the plan <3
