Default Successful - and fun!- weekend

I had a mini-reunion with three high school friends this weekend. Aside from all the wine I drank, I ate healthy and counted every last point. I actually feel pretty proud of myself!

I knew K was making a non-WW friendly buffalo chicken dip for us to snack on pre-dinner, so I picked up a veggie tray and some FF ranch dressing to go with it. I portioned out my dressing and munched on those while they ate the dip. We went out for dinner, and I asked the server if she could work with me a little. I got a half portion of grilled salmon, steamed veggies, and a dollop of mashed potatoes (just had a few bites of those). I didn't have any bread & butter and stuck to just my entree. Yay me!

Back at the house, another friend had brought gourmet pastries for dessert. I did not even LOOK at them! Instead, my 39yo butt played Just Dance! on the Wii. LOL!

Admittedly, I drank a fair amount of wine, enough that I lost count of my glasses. :-P. I basically added half my weekly points to my tracker to cover it. I never eat all of my weeklies anyway so I should be good.

Yesterday morning we went out for breakfast (veggie omelette & wheat toast for me!) and walked around her seaside town for a couple of hours. I wore my pedometer and racked up four AP for our walk. :-)

Today my DH and I had the day off. I took the dog on a mile walk, then we went out shopping. We parked the car a ways away from the mall and walked to each store (outdoor plaza). I've walked nearly 6 1/2 miles for 11 AP!!!

I feel so good. I had a blast, I was never lagging for energy, and I stayed on plan. Some HUGE NSVs there!!!
