I just started WW the Thursday before last, and I had nearly the same reaction you did because I have a large number of points too. I had to work to get within 5-10 points of my daily allowance even without using the extra weekly points. I also earned 31 activity points in my first week and didn't trade any of them. I was eating the same way I ate before I started WW by just eating healthy foods that I like. I don't count calories but I did it long enough before that I had a good idea that I was well under 2000 calories a day before WW. I was curious tonight, so I figured out my points compared to calories. After adding up the points I've had today, I was at 49/55 points and I only got up to 49 because I intentionally added a Chocolate Fiber Plus bar and 2 cups of skim milk tonight. The calories added up to 2030. I feel like that's a lot, but I think part of the mindset change is that at my weight and to sustain hour long workouts, I need to eat more calories. I was very frustrated after weighing in yesterday because I gained a pound (and my leader added to my aggrivation by acting like gaining was something I should be ashamed of). I've decided I'm going to try to stick it out a bit longer to see if I lose. *sigh* Patience is hard. Good luck!
