Default Favorite 'low' point desserts?

For the past few days I have been having a mean sweet tooth! So far I have tried to curb it with fruit. But I still want something cake-ish. If that makes any sense.

What are yalls favorite lower point dessert recipes?

Also my mom used to make a peach cobbler that was a big can of peaches, a yellow cake mix, and a whole stick of melted butter. All layered and then baked. It's awesome, what could I do instead of butter?

I have had success using apple sauce in place of butter or oil in baking. However, my favorite low point dessert is a Chocolate Vitatop. It's 3 points+ (up from 1 *sad*), but it tastes just like a brownie to me and they are easy to keep around in the freezer~

I make cupcakes with chocolate cake mix and a 12 oz. can of diet coke and if it's a yellow cake mix i add either diet ginger ale or diet sprite!! That's it, no oil, no egg, no nada!

They are delicious!!!!!

you could do angel cake with peaches and lowfat granola (or make your own no fat version)

i made a healthy version of apple crisp like that without the cake.

a friend made a angel food cake with fruit in it. it was all in a 9 x 13 pan. i think it was canned fruit. she said it was so easy. it was really good! well, angel food cake is my fav. so i'm biased. lol.

BlueEyes- I have used this recipe for SF frosting, so good and you can use whatever flavor you want! It will be low in points if you make it with FF ingredients. Deduct about 1/2 cup of milk from recipe because I noticed it made it thicker.

My fave low point dessert is diet soda with devil's food cupcakes with SF cherry pie filling and some FF cool whip. Sort of like a black forest cake.

I'm still thinking about what to do with the can of SF apple pie filling. Any ideas?

ETA: oops, forgot to link recipe!

I was thinking for frosting i was going to next time make a glaze with water, confectionery sugar and a dab of milk. That can't be more than a pt!

I keep a tub of FF cool whip in the freezer, and when I get a sweet tooth I scoop some on a chocolate graham cracker to make an "ice cream sandwich." Okay, not the same thing, but still delish.

I love your blog healthyeater!

low-fat frosting = a scoop of light Cool Whip!

I found a recipe for brownies on WW e-tools, made with yoghurt instead of butter and eggs, and low sugar. They taste like dark chocolate, which is not my favorite, but with a scoop a cool whip they are WONDERFUL, and satisfy the chocolate/cake craving for 4-5 points (The recipe says 2 points, but I cut them bigger and add the cool whip, or it's just not satisfying for me, and I want to eat 3 instead of 1 if they are too small.)
