Osu2k1---I wasn't at your meeting as I don't live in OR---apparently, mini-blizzards are all the rage right now

Good tips everyone! I just need to get the courage to confront the situation. Perhaps I'll go back to the later meeting on Saturdays or go weigh-in later that morning when there are less people around so I can voice my concerns. They have 'open hours' on saturdays, so I bet I can find a time when there aren't a lot of people in there.

We have the same issue at our meeting on Sat morning, it's such a large group that it gets really noisy. The problem i find is that the same women every week use the meeting as therapy. They go on and on and on about their personal issue, and it's the same people every week!!!

I sit up front too so i can hear. Fortunately i LOVE my leader, for Pete sakes she dressed up in a felt food pyramid costume one week lol!!!! I feel your pain OP.

Oh my gosh, that is so funny! Sounds like a fun lady I need to find time to go to a different meeting, but nights are hard for me, so Saturday mornings just work well. There is a later time on Saturdays, so maybe I'll start going to that one to avoid the annoying people
