Angry Boy what a night!

Yesterday my son was so sick with the Stomach Flu I took him to the hospital, they decided to then transfer him to Childrens Hospital in Detroit. He was so sick and I felt terrible because there was nothing I could do, the worst part was having to hold him down while the nurse put in an IV, he screamed

I barely got my daily points in yesterday and today I'm sick AGAIN! I didn't know you could get this twice within one week Trying to get my points in today but it's becoming a real challenge because I can't keep anything in me.

I wish there was a vaccine to prevent the Stomach Flu

Don't worry about meeting the guidelines when you're sick - if you've got the stomach flu, your body can't handle the food - go light and you'll rebound when your body is able to.

Hope you and your son are MUCH better soon!

I am soooo sorry to hear about your son!! how scary and stressful for all involved. Is he doing better today? hang in there, hope you start feeling better as well, don't worry about your pts, the nice thing about ww is that it is patient (like housework) it will wait on you to get better and worry about your pts

Thanks guys =D My son is feeling much better today and thankfully I'm starting to also. It's been a rough week and one that I'd like to forget! Time to get back on track tomorrow and head to the gym for the first time in a week =D

Glad to hear you and your little boy are doing better.

I agree with the others - when you're sick, especially THAT sick, forget about points. I would imagine your body wasn't holding onto much, anyway, if my past experience with stomach flu is any indication.

Thankfully everyone is feeling better! My daughter and I were sick yesterday but not as bad as both my boys. Today I woke up to my boys arguing and my daughter complaining, ahhh yes, things are back to normal

I hope you and yours get well soon!

I'm so glad we're finally over this.. This week was the worst I've ever had in my life!

I started crying when the nurse put the IV in my sons arm, he was screaming and had to be held down. I felt so helpless and wanted to make him feel better. I knew having an IV with a dose of medication put through would be the best option for him so I gave my ok to the doctor.

Yesterday was a rough trying to get my points in but I did it! I wasn't as sick as my kiddos were but still felt terrible. So thankfully I'm back on track today and ready to go have a workout!
