Lifetime Question
I joined WW in 2000 and lost and maintained my weight for 4 years and became a Lifetime member in that time, then I became pregnant with my third son, then I got divorced, and here I am again. I found my WW materials today. I joined 01/05/2000 at 166 pounds. On 01/01/2011, I weighed the same! 165 seems to be my NO MORE point LOL. Funny enough, I also lost the same then as now, 4 pounds first week, 2, then 2.
I haven't rejoined WW yet, just calorie counting. Back when I did it, it was the 1-2-3 program and basically was 50 calories a point, unless it was high fat/high fiber. I rarely attended meetings before. I weighed and left. Paying someone $12 a week to publicly weigh me was a huge motivating factor. Just having someone else look at the numbers, write the number down, and stamp the paper was enough for me.
As for my questions, I would like to get the new materials and weigh in occasionally. How does this work for Lifetime members? My paperwork says that the joining fees are waived, you have to pay weekly fees if you are +2 pounds over goal weight, and you only have to weigh monthly. But that was paperwork from 10 years ago; is this still current? Can I raise my goal weight now as long as it is within their recommended limit? It was 138 then, but up to 145 is within healthy range, and put me closer to free weigh-ins/meetings. Is there a fee to get the newest materials? Thanks.
