??? The New Point System

  • I was curious to know how everyone liked (or doesn't) the new point system? I am a lifetimer, gained my weight back, need WW again. They FINALLY have a meeting close to me and I am very interested in going back.

When I first went on WW, it was about 2002, I lived in OK and the meetings were a block away. When I moved here to MI 3 years ago, I could not find one that did not take me a least 45min to get to. I was going to do online, but I wanted to take advantage of being a lifetimer. I am used to Winning Points.

Anyway, there is one in the next town over now, take me about 10min to get there.

Sorry to ramble. I am excited! I love WW and its good for me to eat regular food. I tried Wonderslim and found myself to be very, very, bored after a few weeks. I was also on food benefits, so it is better on my pocketbook. A few months back they reduced my benefits from $200 to $16. I was angry and did everything they wanted and still did not get them back. So, since I had to buy food I thought I would try WS. I liked the food, its a good program and I lost 5 pounds in two weeks. By week 4 I was bored. I went through my supermarket and found comparable foods. I have my food benefits back, so that helps a great deal.

I was wonder if it was going to be hard for me to adjust to the new points. I am one of those people that if I get too frustrated I give up easily.

I would love to hear the good, bad and even the ugly.

    Thanks guys!
  • There are about 87 posts in this forum about the new system.
  • Sorry about that. I did try a search for weight watcher new and it gave me hundreds of post and most of them I could not tell by the title.
  • Just browse through the first few pages of posts in the Weight Watchers section of this forum. Most of them will be about the new points system, how people are liking it, what their losses are like, etc.
  • I like it. I've never been on weight watchers and joined about a week after Points Plus started. I like the fact that all fruit and most veggies are 0 points. I feel very satisfied through out the day. It encourages me to eat quite healthy and I've lost 4.2 pounds in two weeks. I think it's much more simple than counting calories and I find the meetings very helpful. Good luck with everything!
